Hi all, hope you enjoyed watching! This time, I worked on shading and colours, giving rim lighting from the fire for instance. I also tried improving how I did the bold outlines, using Blender's Grease Pencil. I was trying to emulate the outlines drawn in the earlier seasons of Attack on Titan or Kimetsu no Yaiba. The goal was to have the outer lines much bolder compared to the inner outlines. If you'd like to know how I did the shading, please look into the description. I'm still looking into making my own characters, been watching a lot of tutorials on how to make NPR models. @@linkofdoom24Hey! Rockroasts are actually really fucking good when you get used to the crunch! Adding a bit of honey, some onions and a sprinkle of quartz while it roasts makes the savor really pop, so don't hate till you try it, and try it well!
Chef's rule: You cook it, you eat it.
The reason Link is so hard on her is because he made the same mistakes she did. Now he wants her to learn from them the hard way like he did.

If I recall, that's how Sanji learned to cook - if he loused up a meal, Zeff made him eat it.
I like the head canon that link is good at cooking while Zelda sucks at cooking (kinda like Loid and yor) which makes sense since link is an expert at surviving in the wild while Zelda had a personal chef for most of her childhood

She can actually cook if she read about it. In a sidequest for reporter in hyrule field or plain at the stable, you be looking for gourmet chefs who got sick during travel.
Then you pick up note of recipe given by zelda herself, which is actually good, but someone wanted to add monster part to try it out, which turns out to be a very, very bad idea.

Although I found it pretty funny to see a whole camp of dudes sick thanks to her cooking even if was one of there own fault
@@MiguelMartinez-pw9opI feel like after all the failed dishes, Link taught her how to makeone good dish. But you can tell there were still some failures along the way since Zelda made sure to tell people to follow the recipe exactly, a problem I'm sure she learned first-hand

I LOVE how much emotion you put into them! You can just see how close they are. And knowing Zelda’s insecurities and fears, seeing how “loud” her personality is here makes me so happy. Thanks for making this!
Glad you enjoyed it! We don't get much screen time from Zelda in the games, but based on the cutscenes we get of her, I believe her to be more peppy when she's off-duty. 😁

This animation is so cute and funny. I love how Zelda is like "bye" and attempts to run but Link grabs her hood and makes her eat the dubious food. I absolutely loved it, great animation.😊

All the little details like links fingers tapping on his shoulder are excellent and they look great.

if you pay attention at the end you can hear slight zelda coughs meaning that it had to go back where it came really good detail

With the ingredients he had in hand, Link was trying to make "Spicy Simmered Fruit" that has an 11 minute duration from what I have found in BOTW. (Ik that it's not TOTK, but they have the same recipes with TOTK adding new ones for new foods they added.)
I like how even at the end when Zelda so willingly ate the Dubious food and started lurching, Link's reaction makes me think he might have felt bad after Zelda threw up.
Link just basically said “You don’t mess with someone’s food” and Zelda had it coming xD

I love how this works with the fact that Age of Calamity shows Zelda can not cook to save her life. And even Link, whos down to eating just about anything, is scared of her cooking.
It's definitely canon. 😂
Also Link is like: “OH NO YOU DON’T, GET YO AHH OVER HERE. YOU EAT WHAT YOU COOKED-“ when Zelda tried to zip off. 😂
Sorry Zelda, but you gotta learn the hard way that you reap what you sow. 😂 I’m pretty sure Link got his point across to NEVER mess up with his cooking without consulting him first again anytime soon after THAT 😂 Great job on the animation here! So fluid and full of life and personality Zelda and Link normally don’t show in the games!

I.e boys trying to get into Gerudo Town or Zelda once again failing to cook for the Sages (Mineru just passing on right there and then cause Zelda failed in the past too!) 🤣😂

I love Link's and Zelda's facial expressions, I haven't seen them so expressive especially Link and in the case of Zelda I love that she expresses happiness and not just sadness like in the game and if you have your reasons but that she expresses another emotion gives her more naturalness and I love how Link says with his easy expressions "No princess, I'm in charge in the kitchen here" hahaha 🤣🤣
