i had one just like this i was clocked by a state officer that was a friend at 137 MPH and still had a ton of pedel to go i bought it in the late 70's for 600 with a little work when i sold it i got 2800

I developed all the updates and drove them and set up the pistol grip with hurst and the synchros for the 4 spd and posi. Most involvement with the cuda.
I don't think that you should paint the aluminum transmission cooler because it would not allow the heat to radiate from the cooler. That's what I was told about aluminum. Don't paint anything aluminum because the paint acts as a blocker.

Popular color back then. My parents had the bathroom sink ,tub , toilet in that color. Years later and still baddest in the neighborhood
