As a LFC fan i agree that Salah is underappreciated in the PL by pundits and other fans. As for the Ballon Dor there are criterias for who ends up on the list: 1. Individual Performance: This is the most important criterion, focusing on the player's personal achievements and statistics during the previous season. 2. Team Success: The player's contribution to their team's accomplishments is taken into account. 3. Player Behavior and Fair Play: The athlete's conduct on and off the field is also considered. LFC won nothing and didnt reach any finals, så i think that it is fair that he´s not high up on the list, but he should be on it i think. Salahs Stats 23/24: Goals: 25 Assists: 15 Total goal involvements: 40

It's a French award, you won't see an English winner or premier league player anytime soon due to current french football narrative.
How did that work out for Henry?
I think there is truth to your point, though. There are biases in French journalism that are hard to fathom for outsiders. It looks so random.
Then how come Henry never won?
The french love the Premier League. I don't know where you come from
@@hugolouessard3914I watch the premiership in France and the commentators love Salah and are in awe of him, someone needs to look into who are the people that originally compile the players to go into the voting pile

you're spot on. Salah gets disrespected every year despite consistently putting in insane G/A numbers every season. The Ballon dor is a joke
You covered it pretty much well Mark! This shocks everyone but then we know about how bad these awards have become over the last few years !
Its a popularity contest for journalists and sponsors. Its about who gets talked about more not who actually plays the best. Its an absolute nothing of an award
The king does what he wants 👑
For context dani olmo was injured for HALF THE SEASON and is still nominated over Salah. It’s genuinely a joke. Messi being in his position also didn’t help him in the past

Agreed
Ballon Dor was ok,But Fifa the best 2023 was just outrageous and people defended him cause he is Pessi
He’s literally top 3 players in the world every season but because he’s from Egypt instead of Brazil he doesn’t get the hype he deserves. Same with Alisson and van dijk
I never pay attention to the ballon for it should be called popular dor
Thanks for speaking on this Mark, even as a Liverpool supporter love your commentary
Youre absolutely right Salah is underappreciated and its very disrespectful
Its just racism because he is Egyptian, if he was Spanish he would have at least 2

Lmao Name a Spanish player who’s won the ballon d’or in the last decade? Exactly no one. Atleast admit it’s an award specifically made for Messi

Why the f*k would someone care about the Ballon d'Or?! It is literally given to someone, it's not something you win, it's literally a present you are given. I don't understand why the Ballon d'Or even exists.
The whole ballon dor is farce.. Salah won’t give a crapabout it
Look at the consistency and volume of goals and assists. No one has even come close except theirry Henry. That is the air Salah breathes
Absolutely agree. He won’t be bothered. Yep, Rice etc there makes no sense.
The Ballon D'Or is very Spanish-centric. If Salah was playing at Barca or Real, he'd be in the top 5.
Just cause hes coming from non european non south american places, the bias of footballing world towards european n south american is too much tbh. Needs to stop now. Africa, middle east, asia are rising and deserve appreciation. Football is a global game!
Listen to the likes of Troy Deeney saying salah isn’t world class , who is that league one striker talking about the state of him , couldn’t lace salahs boots on a bad day
All respect for being able to do this video after he scored once and assisted twice on old traford. Totally underrated by football people outside UK.
dude respect man. I didnt know about this as an LFC fan. I am shocked and here we have a rival telling it like it is. Respect.
Mo Salah deserved to be in the top 30. He’s a phenomenal player.
Your channel is where every video is a true work of art. Thank you for your creative energy and passion!🥝🏋️🌽
If Mo Salah was Brazilian and called Saladinho he’d have won the ballon d’or multiple times by now
My guess would be Shearer, Rooney, Kane, Lampard, Salah
This is why you earned so many subscribers. Good job, sir, thank you 😊
Mo Salah deserves the Golden shoe award if it was not for discrimination against him as an Egyptian. It’s a disgrace
As a LFC fan i agree that Salah is underappreciated in the PL by pundits and other fans.
As for the Ballon Dor there are criterias for who ends up on the list:
Salahs Stats 23/24:
Goals: 25
Assists: 15
Total goal involvements: 40
Arsenal didn't win anything and Declan Rice is still up there. What a joke.
@@andaredvex Good Point. Salah should be up there.
So why Odegaard, Rice, Saka and Saliba got in for Arsenal beats me then. Arsenal won nothing except plaudits from match of the day and a Pep gold star.
Salah will comfortably go down as the greatest winger to ever play in the PL
I really like this guy he's a genuine football fan who credits other teams and players despite being a United fan.such an unbiased person ❤
Salah with 30+ G/A : excluded from shortlist
Salahinho with 30+ G/A: Ballon d'or
Salah deserves to be there!!
Ballon dor used to be the trophy for the best player in the world. Trophies should never be accounted even if that player won nothing but had the best individual season. It’s a joke
If Salah was English he would have a ballon dor by now and will be considered to be up there with Henry but yet he’s still being compared to Eden hazard
And depending on how this season goes, this well could be the season where he will be considered the greatest Liverpool player of all t ime
Henry didn’t win a Ballon d’Or and he’s French. There’s never been a year when Salah should have won the Ballon d’Or.

Ballon d’Or has been a farce ever since Sneijder didn’t even make the top 3 in 2010
Apart from Messi's award last year, he and Ronaldo won all their awards entirely on merit. They were far and away the best two players in the game for 15 years.
Doesn't matter. He didn't deserve it last year. You steal one trophy or ten you are still a thief. Doesn't matter how many you deserved before, you didn't deserve this one
