Life long catalan Barça fan here, I think this is a revolution in our playstyle that hasn't been seen since Cruyff times. Cruyff was the one that cemented the "ADN Barça" of Total Football that later Guardiola perfected. Now the ADN Barça is being changed and reformed by Flick, the base is still the same (always offensive and possession oriented) but now with much more counter pression, risks and dieect football, and less sideways passes.
Great take Tinashe, I had a smile on my face the whole time. Barcelona absolutely deserves all the praise they are getting. As a Real Madrid supporter I would say that their players and whoever is at the helm are fully invested and giving it their all. When the hate was loud everyone rejoiced, let their rise be louder and covered by everyone.
As a big fan since 2008, the last time a barca team was this dominant was without a doubt circa 2015. The MSN trident was peak, playing direct, simple, complex and beautifully. Just look at their highlights on their champions winning season, Newmar being world class all games and displaying both jogo bonito and being deadly, Suarez being clinical nutmegin and putting the ball top corner in the same play. And messi somehow still being the best of them all. That was peak. Probably something we won't see again, until now, maybe. Something interesting I saw a few days ago was an interesting post that said that barca best attacking trios always have a brazilian, a number 9 and a La Masia kid. In this order it showed (Ronaldinho, Eto and Messi. Neymar, Suarez and Messi. And now it's Raphina, Lewandowski and Yamal)

As a 26 y/o Barca fan I HAVE NEVER SEEN US PLAY LIKE THIS. MSN era, was high possession which led to a lot of goals, this is a press higher than Ten Hag's hairline, insane energy to win the ball back, risky direct passes through the lines with traditional triangles but larger gaps between the players in build up. Hansi plays horizontally at all times, barely anything passed backwards or sideways if a forward pass is on. The front 6 dont have any set shape and move around occupying each others positions with total football. Hansi is combining 2 traditional Barca styles with possession and total football but also integrating his own gengen press, and risky breaking line passes. He does also have access to the best youth academy in the world. Most of these kids play 2/3 positions and so you have CB's dropping into midfield, WB's becoming wingers or midfielders, Dms pressing in the #10. This is my fav style of football after Pep's tiki taka era, which was just a disrespectful way to play and frustrate the opposition, but I'm loving the energy and desire to push the ball up the pitch from Hansi's team.
Hansi is a different breed, when watching his style of playing it feels like there is nothing you can do about it, it's not a super complicated tiki taka style, it's just straight forward simple football

I think this barca is in the top 5 or 4 of barca lineups of the 2000’s. It’s so fluent and so beautiful and no nonsense
Loved this vid so awesome
3:40 - Long, long, long time Barça fan here. It was the Pep years (2012) leading INTO the MSN era (2014-2017)...that was the last time we played this well
Braaaaaqq during a ballon d'or ceremony
it's been near 10 years we've seen this type of "revolutionary" barca with tactics and spurs, but as a barca fan since 2009, the last time i shed tears of joy for this club was maybe 2017... WE ARE SO BACK (Yamal plz stay fit)
This the video I've been waiting for 😂
Loved the analysis on Raphina's run to pull Milatao out of position
Great commentary 🎉
All the love in the world for Yamal for not reacting or bitching about racism 💪🔥 he ain't their puppet ❤️
I loved the ending parts:)
Nah man you're good. haha. I had a good laugh at the end there. nicee
Only barcelona can humiliate real madrid like this
As a 26 y/o Barca fan I HAVE NEVER SEEN US PLAY LIKE THIS. This is my fav style of football after Pep's tiki taka era, which was just a disrespectful way to play and frustrate the opposition, but I'm loving the energy and desire to push the ball up the pitch from Hansi's team.
as a barca fan i haven’t watched them play this good since maybe 2016-2017 ! life is good
0:48 as a Barca fan, so did I
Best video in a minute. Hit after hit with the sarcasm
Hansi is a different breed, when watching his style of playing it feels like there is nothing you can do about it, it's not a super complicated tiki taka style, it's just straight forward simple football
That Vini chance was offside, I believe. RM had only 1 shot, off target, that counted in the first half.
Yeah that was the vini chance.
@@EldenKing1 I thought it was Mbappe's attempt to lob the keeper from the half line.
@@blueodum all i know is the vini chance was 2-3 meters away from an offside. Idk why they didnt count the mbappe lob or maybe the stats just wrong🤷♂️
@@EldenKing1 They might be wrong, but I think, on the Vini chance, Mbappe was offside in the buildup. I can't be sure, as I can't find video of the entire buildup. About the Mbappe long shot, I mean that was a clear attempt at goal so you have to count it as a shot. And at least that time he was onside.
@@blueodum do we talk about the same chance in the 22nd minute right? It was a beautiful one-two with the #14 and there was nobody else involved with an offside position😊
That social distancing bit cracked me up bad
"Being a Madrid fan and a racist is like choosing life at the most unnecessarily difficult setting". Quotes 101
But yeah hypocrisy from all those who abused Yamal. Great video OP
Luis Enrique 2015/2016... and some matches on the first half a season with xavi those are the last times we experience this level of football at our club
thoughts and prayers my man
