Goffin is a very talented player all round. I feel like he’s not talked about much and just sort of floats under the radar between 10-20 ranked. He played a great match today and in the singles. I think he’s quite underrated

Jack Sock is very good at doubles, and honestly, Team Europe sucks at it. The only one there that actually plays doubles is Alex Zverev. (Edit: We all know Team Europe is practically unstoppable in singles. I wanted to point out doubles.It's just an observation)
This is very true. Sock, Isner and Kyrgios all play doubles on the regular and Jack won a title this year with each of them. He may have struggled with singles this year, but Johnny Mac knew what he was doing when he added jack to the World team. Hard to lose a doubles match if Jack Sock is your partner.

As a singles player, he is very good, but will never be great and i really don't think he can win sth more than that Masters last year.
As a nole fan I have to admit roger is the king in laver cup I mean he isn’t losing any of his singles matches with Novak losing Anderson and Nadal losing to isner last year.
i dont think its a very fair rule to let sock play doubles in the 3 days. but right now it kinda balances the superiority of team europe in singles. so we'r gonna b okay by now :) maybe we'll get a final and decisive djokovic-kyrgios, with kyrgios leading 2-0 in h2h. that could be legen, wfi... :)
I think Kyrgios would make a better doubles player than singles player. I feel like he needs a team mate out there with him to keep him focused and his energy up

Team World have more advantage in doubles since most of their players are big servers! I already knew Goffin and Dimitrov doesn't stand a chance. However Federer and Zverev have a chance.. It's going to be close against Sock and Isner I think if they both hold serves.
So, for the 3. day Team Europe needs 2 matches to win a tournament and Team World needs 3 matches win to win it. Very last match won't matter like last year, so 2. or 3. one tomorrow will decide a winner :D
if team world can win the first two matches, it would put them ahead 11 to 7. then if team europe wins the third match, it would be 11 to 10 team world ahead. then it would come down to the last match to decide the winner. it can still be a very intense laver cup!

Yep dimitrov can't play doubles, he's so bad at the net and so slow when running after short balls and he knows they lost this match because of him. Goffin impressively good at doubles. But dude...what a dream team Jack and nick, they killed it, they could break all the records if they would play doubles together all tournaments. Nick absolutely one of the best net players I've seen and jack we all know what an amazing doubles player is! ❤❤❤

when the returners don´t fear the net man, the server is fucked unless he has a huge serve to produce sitters for the net man. In Mixed the man is more often broken for this same reason.
