During the AFCON, I did an analysis on this Super Eagles players. Nigerians replied that I do not know football. It is becoming clearer and clearer now that thses players are not good enough. Some were comparing them with 1994 squad. I LAUGHED! Where are SUNDAY OLISEH, FRIDAY EKPO, THOMPSON OLIHA, OKOCHA in this squad?
Where are the dreadful RASHIDI YEKINI, DANIEL AMOKACHI, EMMANUEL AMUNIKE AND FINIDI GEORGE in this squad?

You guys analysize football with sentiments. Playing for a big team does not make you a good player. And playing in Europe does not make you better either. Richard Owobokiri was a goal poacher in Europe but never made Westhof team?
There are some Nigerians in English Championship and Nigerian professional league who are better than these players. Look for players who have movement and good control of the ball and who don't get tired easily. We have them.
In my analysis then, I mentioned Ebere Eze and Olise as players who can move eagles forward, especially our midfield.. We need plasyers who can win the ball, hold it, control the ball , pass accurately, take on people and create chances in the midfield. Players who can do all these are players who have CONFIDENCE AND SELF-BELIEF. The likes of Partey and Rice, Debruyne, Okocha, Bellingham, Musiala and Ebere Eze.
Rueben Agbola was in Championship whern he was playing for Eagles. Lookk for them. Look for hungry and creative players, and not big names. Use Gift Urban instead of Onnuachu who brings nothing to the team. I wish Super Eagles well

There's nothing wrong with the players because they play exceptional at their clubs so don't bring that argument that they are not good enough. Administration and availability of good coaching are the challenges of Nigerian Football

I am Ghanaian. Nigerians should stay positive. Nigeria has big enough ego to pull it off. It takes character. South Africa will top the group. Nigeria will go to the round-robin and qualify, but they will need to grind it out. No team is easy in Africa anymore.

Finidi does not have enough experience compared to Amuneke who some of these players have played under. Finidi should have been given the under aged team to manage and to mentor them. NFF sees the national team as under age team. It is unfortunate that we have incompetent administrators

Amadu Pinick is the problem of football in Nigeria. He influenced NFA to chose Finidi George instead of Emmanuel Amunike for the reason best known to him. Amadu Pinnick should leave NFA to do their work.
You guys are just beating around the bush. The players are to get the list blame, who invites the players? The players have the right to be less committed when the right players that can do the job are left out from the team, but bring in the players they are ready to market. Do you do experiment with a high profile match like 2 world cup qualifiers where you already had 2 draws there by losing 4 points? Peisero or Gernot Rohr can never play a player from the Tanzania league in his defence in any of these two matches, ahead of any defenders playing in the European leagues. Few months ago, Super Eagles defence was the best in Afcon and a player in that defence happened to be the best player of the tournament. Ekong was in Uyo, yet Finidi preferred a Tanzania league player and a first timer more than him. Any day any time, local coaches are never in any advantage to super Eagles. My reasons are not far fetched.
1. Finidi is not in charge of the team.
2. He has not impacted any tactics in the team style of play.
3. Our players are too arrogant and highly indiscipline. That's why they can come for training with their mobile phones on them.
4. They are overrated.
5. They lacks what it takes to play for the country.
6. The coach can not handle the players indiscipline attitude.
7. The players doesn't know the importance of going to world cup.
With the above reasons of mine, it will be difficult for Nigeria to qualify for 2026 world cup except they change their mindset towards the qualification series.
I hope they qualify at the end of the day.

That game was 2 mistakes and we were punished, it’s a transition from a manager to another, Finidi will get it right, it might cost us, but for this match the the subs let him down none of them performed. Every team is beatable, Iceland just beat England even though it's friendly. We should stop underestimating othe African our pride is killing us slowly. Sometimes in life you need to do down and hopefully learn your mistakes and climb back to the top. Many of these actually thinks they are doing the country a favour,I guess it is because some of them did not start their career in Nigeria so they feel they own us nothing. I think we need an action coach like " Diego Simone" of athlectico madrid to ginger the players. Finidi doesn't have that action.

Nigeria will be qualified if the team is well organised with an expérienced foreign coach. Finidi is not the solution due to what happened against my country Benin Republic. It was unbelievable.

Broh this is gonna be an uphill task for the super eagles look at the group table now south Africa has 7 point, Benin republic now have 7 points and Rwanda has 6 point and we how many 3 point without any win so tell me if south Africa and Benin were to win all their remaining matches what will be the fate of Nigeria in the qualifiers probably you and I know it will be jeopardy. I have said this before and I am going to say it again that Finidi is the man for the job. He is one Nigerian player who was exposed to a great coach and for those of you who didn't see him play in Holland, go and watch tutorial videos of him with praises from LVG. Also in Spain he was the captain of his club if memory serves me correctly. Failure to qualify for the world cup won't be the end of the world and even if you qualify what are you going to do? Win the world cup with these crop of players who ply their trade in the lower level of the ladder in Europe? How many of these your so called superstars play with RM,BAR, MC, LV, BM, PSG or even Arsenal? So let's cut the crap and let Finidi take his time and groom a team of his choosing. Even the great one at MC inherited a championship team when he arrived but failed to win the league in his first season until he cleaned house and as we say the rest is history.
