Hi bro, can I still run the program even the sensor blows. For example if the sensor blows, can I see the wording atleast like the BPM and Spo2 on the LCD screen after being programmed or will it not show anything on my lcd screen?
Bro, if the sensor blows the sensor will not connect to the arduino does the arduino does not able to identify the sensor so so the total program will not work. Contact me via my contact email id. You should connect the sensor with 3.3v of arduino. Even 5v can harm the sensor.

Hi. Cool video. I tried to connect the same way, but it says "initialization failed". Do you think it has got anything to do with the sensor? There's no light being lit by the sensor too.
Note: if u connect with the 5v the sensor will blow. Only 3.3v.... that means ur sensor has passed away.

hello, i tried this project out and i am facing some issues.
1.the sensor just stays on for sometime after which it does not work.
2.the display shows bpm and spo2 written on the screen but soon some different characters start appearing on the screen.
1. You have to connect the sensor to only 3.3v only even if you connect to 5v sensor will blow.
2. Check your i2c commutation connect with arduino. If it is loose then this problem may happen.

If you connect the sensor to 5v the sensor will blow and not work anymore. Connect the VCC of the sensor to 3.3v
I connected it to 3.3V.. and red light is so weak and in serial monitor it says “initialising… “ and doesnt say FAILED nor SUCCESS

The code is working but shows an error that failed uploading but i have already chosen the port that is needed, and it shows that avrdude : error copyright baud 115200 like something, but bpm and spo2 is showing on the serial monitor, what should i do plz reply...
No data is showing on the lcd screen
so infrared light is on but it says initialization failed , also the sensor gets very hot in a matter of seconds ,is there any way to fix it ?
First check the connections. i am not pretty sure what is worng with the sensor since it's getting hot. I think that the polarity of the sensor is connected i.e VCC to Gnd and Gnd to VCC. Note that the sensor should be connected to 3.3v not 5v. Even 5v will kill the sensor. Is the red light on the sensor is on ?

That means you sensor is not working. I think you may connect the VCC of sensor to 5v even 5v kills it.
