100% agree that this is what Kickstarter is for. Kickstarter is not for successful companies who don't want to spend their own money investing in a new product. Kickstarter is for the indie / solo guy with the idea but not reasonable way to fund the project but for crowd funding. I will be backing this.
I'm really interested in the cards and rule set. Like you I have plenty of figures and tiles, but I'd love to the cards with the tiles on them and the monster summaries. Looking forward to the Kickstarter.

Well, various shades of. Silver Tower is top 10 dungeon crawl of all time, a true masterclass of design and presentation.
You know, Silver Tower is actually pretty good. I think I was expecting more of an OG reprint so was disappointed. But in itself, it's a good game. I like Blackstone Fortress more.
ya really think KS is being abused by big company's!!! Monte Cook is one of the biggest abusers of the KS platform....Will be looking to back this for sure, as another fellow reviewer glad to see this, thanks for the info.
This is cool that you had an interview with him. That was a nice change. I wouldn't mind seeing more KS-interviews on your channel. Puts a face or voice behind the project.
I never thought 'streamlined' meant 'simpler' or 'easier'. They seem to just replace alot of rules that make complete intuitive sense with rules that are weird and proprietary that you really have to use brain power to remember. (Ever play Gloomhaven? I felt like it needed a PhD course to tackle that learning curve). Whereas a retro game like this has alotta charts and things to remember, but completely intuitive and in line with what we've been used to from older standard dungeon board and video games.

Just received my copy from Lulu today .. . I will be backing this when it goes live in March ! Until then I've got an original copy to learn and enjoy ,plus DUN too . Love the box art and map !!!
Some stretch goals ideas split the rule book and campaign book and if possible optional acrylic standees but must say the actual standees look fantastic.

Nice interview, thanks for the vid. Curious if you have played Dungeon Universalis and if you have what differentiates this game. Mechanically and component-wise they are very similar. Both have fully fledged vs, solo and co-op (Dungeoneers does have vs mode yes?), very similar rules & mechanics, similar world/monsters/loot, standees (although LoD has better standee art), almost same size shape and number of tiles (although DUN has better tile art) etc.... The biggest difference I see is that the random dungeon aspect in Dungeoneers is done with cards, while DUN uses an app (although I'm hoping for cards next Kickstarter). I also wish they had left the name as just Dungeoneers though... really don't like "League of" in the title. Unthematic sounding for a dungeon crawl, but oh well.

Although on kickstarter its 4 years old and the CEO Assad ( who is an amazingly genuine guy) is using the KS platform to try and bring the game to a wider audience.
