Hahaha! You got me! I was wondering why you were making a video using Pillsbury. It didn’t make sense to me until you said “April Fools!” LOL! I actually was relieved when you said that! 😂
Lol! I saw it in the store, and thought..... I just have to do it! LOL
I tend to end up using leftover hard wheat flour from the freezer when I make banana bread -- and it's always awesome! I always add an extra banana (or two) and sweeten with maple syrup. I used to have trouble knowing when to take it out of the oven and am so glad to have learned to use my low-tech meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of my breads -- and I think between 190 and 200 degrees F is best. I also use the Ceylon cinnamon, and I put in at least a tablespoon of it rather than one teaspoon as I find that its flavor is comparatively very mild.

Quick tip: You can make your own baking powder by using equal parts of baking soda and cream of tarter. If you want to store it, you just add half the amount of corn starch, and it will help keep it from clumping.

😂 You got me too with your April fool’s “recipe”! Great recipe for the banana bread, it looks delicious… the idea of making it with sourdough is very interesting… but first, I have to make the sourdough… I loved your video about it… for sure I am trying it! One question… it just we t through my mind… could I add strawberry pieces in the dough? I have a lot of frozen strawberries… Thanks again for the recipe! My husband and I also think whole grain flour recipes taste better… and are of course healthier.

The banana bread looks delicious. I’m going to have to try both regular and sourdough. My sourdough that you inspired me to start is doing beautifully. Unfortunately my husband and I still don’t find it to be our preference. All the other things that can be made with sourdough on the other hand… 😋🤤 I’m not allowed to ever make “normal” chocolate chip cookies again 😂
Lol, Sourdough is not always our favorite either, I go through phases where I really want it, then I need a break, lol. But, I agree the sourdough brown butter cookies alone is worth keeping it! LOL
