What an amazing presentation of knowledge, scriptural reference with your whole heart and soul! Thank you!! You are something special.
With all of the 2nd Coming references how does the grand council meeting of Adam-ondi-Ahman fit in?
Would you maybe consider giving us COWS some of your thoughts on that event?

I agree that an invitation to come unto Christ is good, to repent seems to be implied. It reminds me of people in the church talking about "the covenant path" and how we want to return to be "with" Heavenly Father. The covenant path isn't directions on how to GET somewhere. In fact, it's instructions on how to BECOME like Him. If we don't become like Him, we won't be with Him.
I hope this makes sense to you. It's a subtle shift in how we look at our covenants. It's not enough to make the covenants, we have to keep them. Truly striving to keep our covenants changes us...that we might be like Him.

Working with the young women I saw such a major shift in thinking with the changes in For the strength of the youth pamphlet. For the youth, they see the removal of the donts as boundary shifts - within just a few months, the majority of the young women were wearing two-piece swimsuits. Several were talking about tattoos within just a few weeks. Having the sports illustrated models is not the same concern as it used to be. I don't mean that the youth don't want to do the right thing, but they don't see the donts as taboo anymore.

Yes, the girls almost took it to the standards getting lowered but I felt they were being raised. The girls want to know to how close they can ride the line. They asked if it was okay to kiss another girl and still go to the temple.

I loved Greg's interview with Abraham Gileadi! I didn't know his background in Israel and how he found the Church there. I am reading his books now, and feel his studies of Isaiah are right on and inspired. He also says we have in our manuals and footnotes some philosophies of men. I also love how he recognizes that we follow God , and make covenants with God .We need to study truth for ourselves and not rely on the scholars to understand.

I loved that interview too. I also watched his interview with Andrew Young and I bought the book on Isaiah that Andrew Young recommended called “Isaiah Plain & Simple: The Message of Isaiah in the Book of Mormon”. I am loving my study of Isaiah. I also went to Abraham Gileadi’s web site and have started studying Isaiah through there! He talked about how the Lord warned the covenant people and they had 3 years to prepare before they were destroyed and Dr. Gileadi says that this is a pattern for the last days. Immediately I thought of President Nelson saying “…do the work now because time is running out.” I am loving seeing our day in Isaiah.

I loved your comments from your video today. I know it went for over an hour, however, there is so much more to be said about Jesus Christ affinity towards the house of Israel. Especially the Jewish people, his family and house! I loved your insight about, the Jews in Jesus Christ time and the consequence of not following Jesus Christ, was their city, country, and lives were completely demolished by the Romans and 70 A.D.. As we prepare, and wait for Jesus Christ, second coming, he is showing mercy to the house of Israel. It reminds me of what the book of Mormon teaches. When Lehi was giving his children blessings, he also gave the grandchildren. Blessings. The difference between the parents and the children’s blessings were significant. The parents were going to be held accountable more so than the generations of children. I like to think that is possibly why the difference between the Jews and Jesus Christ time versus the Jews in our time are being treated differently. I’d love to hear your thoughts about that.

Here's another picture.......when He was born soon after He was presented by His parents in the Temple according to the Law......as reads: "These are the regulations for the woman who gives birth to a boy or a girl. But if she cannot afford a lamb, she is to bring two doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering.
They brought the latter........but REALLY she did bring THE LAMB......His sacrifice was suspended till the end of His Mission......thus two doves were Highly Appropriate, as little as an offering it appeared to be. 😉

I was surprised to hear the Miracle of Forgiveness by Spencer W. Kimball was no longer available from Deseret Book, and wondered why. Some I've talked with have said it is because it was too forward in its approach to telling people they needed to repent. I don't really remember exactly the words of it but in my teen years I was really starting to get too far from living a Christ-centered life, and had that book given to me. When I read it, I felt so much more of an understanding that the course I was on would not be a happy one and that I needed to return to our Savior and follow Him. I don't understand the thinking that we should not be forward in suggesting to those we love that there is a wonderful gift they can choose to take them to a much more fulfilling and joyful Way.

The last time my wife and I went to the temple, about a month ago, we went to Draper, we had not been to that temple before and somehow we both felt it, it felt and looked like Jerusalem, like BYU Jerusalem center up on a mountain the way the Draper temple is, it was a strange feeling.

Love the double fulfillment of the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9!
As for “scripture” supporting the story of Mary riding on a donkey we can look at the Gospel of James (a.k.a. The Protoevangelium of James) 1:17.
“…And he saddled the ass, and set her upon it; and his son led it, and Joseph followed…”
This Gospel is apocryphal, and was composed around 145AD. Nevertheless, it demonstrates at least a fairly early tradition among Christians that the pregnant Mary rode a donkey to Bethlehem.

Speaking on who builds the temple in Jerusalem, which is the scripture that says as a sign of Judah being redeemed is when they again make a holy sacrifice to the Lord in the temple? The phrasing makes it seem to me as if the Jews will make a burnt offering again, which can only be done in the temple. So what's wrong with them building "A" temple with which they will make there sacrifice and then once they receive Christ we will together build a temple for the sacrifices of the higher order. So maybe 2 temples, or maybe one progressive temple.

Picture this in your mind......When Jesus Christ comes to save Jerusalem and begin His Kingly Administration......and under the 1000 years of Peace begin to rebuild Jerusalem again.....and he walks the very stones His feet walked in mortality.....can you imagine what thoughts and memories will come to His mind?......perhaps, once identified, the very key places of importance of His Atoning Mission might have memorials be placed in the very same spots.
As to your first observation of the irony of the BYU event......one of our Latter-Day Prophets said...."there are some leaders called to bless our faith, and some are called to try our faith"......😆....I suspect this applies to the lowest saint to the Highest called just short of The Prophet 😉
