I made one of these a while ago on a budget by using a caulking gun to push out the water, the the wood was in a pvc pipe. That method just took a while to get the log out of the pipe. I am considering buying one of these.
That is very good of using waste shaving from your wood that you make very beautiful things from. I love it you figure out a way to recycle your shaving.
