How I use Waste Wood to Heat the Workshop

I'm often asked what I do with my waste wood, here is this years answer. Recorded in the summer and the briquettes take around 3 weeks to fully dry. The workshop has been very warm this winter at zero cost :). Video to follow how I recycle resin waste. It should be noted before this year wood waste was disposed of as organic waste and would have ended up as compost.

Oh dear, how many of these have I seen! I ended up with what I should have got in the first place - a Myford ML-10. It is one of the very last to be made - still had the inspector's label on it! I was alerted to you, Matt, via a friend sending me a link to your Facebook vid showing making of a guitar with the wood roundels - loved that! Rich, guitar player, and maker of things until arthritis took over! Wanna buy an ML-10? (kidding of course :))))
where to order the mug ?
What type of wood moisture meter would you recommend as I’ve never used one before and find it difficult to work out how much time in the microwave oven my timber needs to dry , thanks for sharing your thoughts in advance all the best from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺

@@mattjordan-everythingelse398 when I have bought cheap tools, I've found some manufacturers put in a bit of effort into their designs and still the cost down. Others just can't be bothered as it's too much hard work for them.

Does all of your equipment have the ability to be upgraded, or does it make a difference in what you do? Your knowledge is definitely saving you a lot of money, so no one is charging you to do this work. That's tedious. 😊😊😊

I made one of these a while ago on a budget by using a caulking gun to push out the water, the the wood was in a pvc pipe. That method just took a while to get the log out of the pipe. I am considering buying one of these.
where did you get the coffee cup insert?
you get much better results by using old engine oil and other waste oils instead of water!
If that isn't having it down to a science! Here I was thinking I could get for my garage, but Not that way! ☺️ Nice for you though! 🔥🙌

what camera do you use and how do you like your laguna lathe, i know you used to have a stratos xl,,do you like it better?
Never owned a Stratos, had a Draper and a Scheppach, the Laguna is excellent and a real work horse
