This game is a little addicting. This was fun to watch as well. You freaking out to the changes were great. Just know that if it’s just a square, you can get away with 1-2 houses for a bit and I wouldn’t worry about connecting all the same color together. It wastes roads. Just connect enough houses for each structure.
I haven’t finished the video yet, so maybe you figured this out already…you can go all 8 directions on a roundabout. You just have to treat the center as the connection point instead of the edges

people talk trash about traffic lights, but if you just gotta find out the right way to use them they are a God send when used correctly, just don't have too many roads connected to the traffic lights
If you do more diagonal roads you will save roads and not constantly be out of roads. If you go up 1 and over 1 you are using 2, if you use a diagonal road you use 1.
I just got an image of this being a mobile game ad and then engineers are all good and all but that one newbie plays this game constructs more good things than the other engineers

Blitz was a civil engineer, although he commonly worked on hydro machines there's no telling whether or not he did work on roads!
I would love a sandbox mode where we can move houses and stores but houses change color after each journey
Separating colours barely helps at all. You should instead limit the number of vehicles using a particular path
I must say that I like this game and would love to see you keep playing it.

they got updated, now they're quite good
roundabouts are preferable but traffic lights are smaller, and still work fine

Blits! you can cover the areas where you don't want things with road to make the game a lot easier

Actually it is a very good strat to separate the colours as you won’t get so many cars all going in different directions
