  • The truth is that you are enough and you are loved. This guided mindfulness meditation is for healing and connecting with the vibrations of love and being nurtured. If you have not been told today or recently, know that you are loved. You are worthy of love. And you deserve to feel good. Right now. This meditation may be listened to before sleep or at any point in the day when you need to be reminded of who you are and what you deserve. We are all connected. We are all part of something much bigger than we understand. Repeated listening will help you feel better, be empowered, and remember how much you deserve to be loved for who you are.

    When I was 4, I used to call my mom's name out all day. I asked enough questions to make her head spin. At one point, she told me to look to the sky because some answers only God had (of course once I got to school I learned that we humans have answers to and she was just exhausted from my inquiries). But when I sensed she was going over the edge, I realized when she said "What?" for the thousandth time in a day, I could simply say, "I love you," and her eyes would soften and light up. At some point in my life, it wasn't so easy to say. It became a heavy word. A listener wrote in with a similar concern and I wrote this meditation to remind you it's all okay and you are loved. If this is the only place to get to hear it today. If this is the safest place for you to hear these words, let them in. One breath, one meditation at a time.
    “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

      Thank you Michelle. Lately I feel like I’m a burden to my family and a disappointment. My mom is so tired and my daughter is off to college next year. I don’t have answers for her about the future or solutions for the present. And so although I hate sounding like a victim, I find myself hungry for hugs and reassurance that I don’t have to receive those things expectantly to know I’m valued and valuable somehow. Xoxo

      . I find love inextricably confusing. I know I love but am unsure if I am loved since people who have expressed it to me have generally acted quite contrary to how I think love is expressed. I have little expectation from others since historically I’m usually disappointed. It’s a complex emotion that has many faces. Some of them poetic like your meditation. Which ended as abruptly as some of my love relationships did. I thank you for going out on. a limb making this. I think it takes courage to say I love you. It’s a very vulnerable position to have. It’s not quantifiable or qualifiable. How do you love me how much in what way with what conditions and what does it all mean? Who do you suppose was the first person to say I love? And what or who did they love and why? Look this is just my dumb ass way of coping with a beautiful voice telling me she loves me. It made me blush. Loving myself seems even more complicated. Kind of an ontological quandary. If I love myself should I kiss myself? Or just have unconditional acceptance of myself. Something to ponder. No wonder I’m still awake.

      Thank you Michelle. I'm going through some pretty heart and gut wrenching family issues - and have been for as long as I can remember. I'm hanging onto your every word - it's the only thing that's helping me even just little bit, at this time. I'll never understand how people can be so cruel and heartless - particularly to their own flesh and blood. Thank you for sending this incredibly necessary and sensitive message and healing words.     Thank you for having a neutral ending instead of a wake cue. This really helps the meditation be dual purpose (also for before sleep)

      Sarah. You are not alone. What I subscribe to for myself is I don’t care if anyone understands me. I’m a sensitive receiver who picks up on others emotions very strongly and if they feel chaos I feel it too. It is exhausting. Sometimes I won’t watch the news or watch serious dramatic shows. I learned to filter what I receive so I’m not overwhelmed. But there are times I just can’t and I just get overwhelmed. No catastrophe just super energy sapping. You can be alone but you don’t have to be lonely. I’m sure your good company. Accept yourself who cares if anyone else does. Being sensitive is a gift and a curse. Focus on the gift part. That way when someone else feels pain or sadness or rage you can possibly be able to support them unconditionally. Maybe even lead them to a better path. Just by being you.

    Good morning, and thank you for your time and resources in producing this. It really helped me to relax. I was already exhausted but felt anxious and afraid. My Mom has Parkinsons disease, and I never feel I'm doing enough for her. I'm sad and resentful over my only sibling, not helping at all.
    Plus, there's all of my own stuff to deal with. Anyway, it's hard to shut my mind up; and this did it. I appreciated feeling like I wasn't alone, even for a few minutes.

    Hello person reading the comments just a few things to help you on your sleeping Adventure. Number one make sure that your alarms turned on for never time you want to wake up if you don't want a alarm no worries no need to set one. Number two make sure that if your phone needs to be charged it is charging. Number 3 make sure that where you're at is a very comfortable place you will be sleeping soon .     Love - without it life is a mere existence. I’d love to relate my own 2020, a tumultuous emotional roller rollercoaster with my best friend. Perhaps we should write that book, just based on this year alone it would make for fascinating reading.
