Cannot kill those 390s. What killed that engine was the gas crisis and the emissions in the 70's. Unfortunately, gas prices are jumping again. Love it, Dad had a choice of 24" and 40" and went for the 24". Shoulda got both, lol. That's gonna make someone very happy when she is rolling down the road. I'd like to see those brakes upgraded to discs all around. I thinks it's crazy to have drum brakes on a 390 equipped rig. Big ole Patina Rig. Another fun (and family friendly vid). Good on Y'all.
I had a 1968 f100 back in the 80's, same light blue, same long bed. 302 Automatic under dash AC. The ole truck was awesome. It had the optional tool box built into the bed. Nice video Guy's.
Hi Rev. Dave, thank you so very much for your videos, they are COOL. Please allow me to say that many people live on saying things about this and that, ordinary things like "you should...", "don't ...", etc., trying to sell other people what they oughta do. I don't think either one of the hub caps are correct but I could be wrong. She should clean up nice. What else did your dad buy because he said the other is a short bed or something like that. The cargo switch is for a light on the cab to shine into the bed. Left handed monkey wrench was good I once picked up a box of rubber gloves at work told the new guy I picked up a box of right handed gloves sent him for a box of lefts he did it.
