This is the first video of yours I watched and I instantly subscribed. Love your flight review style, keep it up! I tried Pegasus for the first time last year, and I‘m quite sure it was the last time I flew them or through SAW. Terrible (my personal experience)
Thanks and welcome to the channel! Glad you liked my video style. From what I saw you also have some impressive work at your channel that's absolutely worth checking out!
If it's a connection to another airline, then yes, even four hours might not be enough, unfortunately. I also assume that remote gates cost the airlines less and that they can't change at the last minute. Were the buses from Pegasus or the airport? One time in Helsinki, a bus driver actually delivered us to the wrong plane! We were already on the stairs and almost inside the plane but the look on the FinAir flight attendant's face told me something was really wrong.
Hi mate, I’m flying to Dubai from Manchester with Pegasus and stopping at SAW. Will my bag go all the way to Dubai? And do I have to go through security and check in for my second flight at SAW? Thanks
I have flown with Pegasus literally hundreds of times, almost always from and to Sabiha Gökçen and I have no serious complaints. The booking process is practical and clear, with no hidden fees, the check-in process (specially since the initiation of the self service for luggage) is quick, the flights are mostly on time. The only time that a flight was cancelled my hotel was paid for without problems. Sabiha Gökçen can pose problems. It seems to me that this airport simply grew too large in recent years. Luggage delivery can be slow for incoming flights, specially at late times.
As an ex PGS employee who worked in operations control, the delays are usually caused by slots (technical term CTOT-calculated time of takeoff), in this case probably what happened because of the extra 1 hour delay after boarding. and then that go around and hold pattern really spiced things up on landing for you. Then parking in a remote location, I can say chances were not on your side that day. You did the right thing by choosing the 4 hour layover, in a standard world that would have worked fine, but with flying there's so many factors invoived so there's always the risk. They already have transit passengers prepared for what to do before you land from GCC, hence taking you to the hotel. Sorry to see everything went downhill for you. ps. The cabin chief was probably busy on the company ipad setting up the flight paperworks, not her phone, probably not the best time like you said.
You are the most informative and entertaining travel reviewer I've found so far. Omg "the armpit of Greta Thunberg" Everything is so professionally made and edited it's really amazing. 18:46 wtf is that?!
8:02 sorry but when no one is listening what should the cabin crew do? Cabin crew is exhausted and tired even they love their Job. I work also for an airline and I can be very stressful and the pressure from the airline is so high that ur don’t care anymore for anything But nice video btw and sorry that happens to u What really wonders me is like, Duo to the delay u missed it flight. Normally the first carrier or let’s say the carrier where caused the missing connecting flight they HAVE TO rebook u to the next flight. I mean tf? It’s not ur fault
That must be really frustrating if the passengers don't listen, thanks for sharing your perspective. When it comes to rebooking that's my fault to some extent because I booked at two airlines.
I wast at erbil our flight was delayed for 8 hours bc of some “technical issues” which we were supposed to land at Istanbul but we landed at a random, city in turkey then we had to stay for that airport for 3 hours it was my worst experience
Sometimes I feel a bit scared that you know exactly what else I am watching. Trio Mandili in the intro? You gotta be kidding.... Nevertheless, yet again another great video 👍 Cheers from BRU 🛫
The air industry operates within a highly intricate and dynamic framework, heavily influenced by flight safety regulations, unpredictable variables such as weather conditions, air traffic control, and logistical constraints. Given this complexity, punctuality in takeoffs and landings cannot be always assured, regardless of the airline, bro. This uncertainty is further magnified when flying with low-cost carriers, which often have fewer resources to manage and mitigate delays. Consequently, passengers must be prepared for the possibility of schedule disruptions, recognizing that the multifaceted nature of air travel inherently resists guarantees of timeliness. You need to choose between paying with more money or sacrificing time.
Technically you had no connection flight if the second flight is with another airline, you had two bookings and in that case is Pegasus not responsible for the second flight.
Hey bro im a kid maybe but i like youre video and i realized i was at SAW that day for my ANtalya flight with pegasus pegasus was good when im riding with them they are only delaying 30 minutes i think it happened to you. :D
Hahahah yes, but as long as I don't have Sam Chui's paycheck I don't want to fly on a full service carrier every week hahahah (btw would love to go to NZ one day)
Some days ago flown on Pegasus and I confidently say that it was my worse experience as a passenger on my almost 30 years flying, taking in consideration that aviation is my working field, this Airline from the counter to your pax seats is a nightmare, seat are completely fix they won't recline no tolerance at all with the weights of your luggage, plus there's pegasus personal checking your hand luggage just before boarding and if for a coincidence you as a pax have a backpack with more that 3 kg they will not let you continue your flight until you paid on the spot that it happens to be the boarding gate and they won't care if you're on transit and on your previous destination everything was completely fine. Pegasus was by far, the worst experience since I began flying as a pax around 30 years ago. I'll say avoid it, if you can.
Ok, having commented on your earlier Pegasus review from Bucharest to SAW that I was reassured, now I’m full of trepidation! (Once I stopped chuckling at Greta’s armpit 😊) Did they check your bags through to Tbilisi?
oh😂😅 but it is only my point of view, maybe some other people will see it differently, so it's subjective right? (English is not my first language as you may hear😅😅)

Yep thats true unfortunately... Btw being brought to the wrong plane sounds fun😂
what kind of font are you using for the subtitles? Nice report by the way! I flew them also somewhere in 2013 or 2012, experience was good.
Thank you! I don't know what's the font called but it's the default one in Adobe Premiere.

Back in 2017, they didn't bother to send an email or text when my flight was cancelled, I only found out on departure day at the airport.

@@spinalcrackerbox Happend before on Swiss flight😂😂 the FA got very upset.
Do u suggest flying with it?
if the flight is delayed are you able to claim for any compensation from the airline?
For EU flights that are more than 3hrs late
Why are the subtitles saying about another vid?
Thank you so much for pointing that out!! Was an upload error, I changed it.

Next month i have a trip from Beirut to Budapest, my options are pegasus and turkish, guess this video came in handy
Dont forget that atlot of delays might be the fullt of the airport and not the airline as it may take time for ground staff to finish everything

thanks was going to istanbul and I'm definitely going by pegasus.. thanks for the insight
if me at your position, i choose turkish airlines or evening flights I don't want take a risk.
Yes, that would have been smarter
The same thing happened to me today I’m right now on a hotel same reason as yours!
Sorry to hear that bro😕 Hope everything went well in the end
It actually did the second flight didn’t get Delayed but I’m still pissed of how much they delayed the first flight
