12:25-12:31 Same! Like for example: I combine many characters from other universes into my series and make their universes impartially canon to the Thomas world.
I loved the Royal Engine! I also love the references to older episodes such as Sir Topham Hatt actually being a fireman for Thomas AGAIN (Reference to season 5), Duchess being an actual real life counterpart and the line where Thomas said, “Little engines can do big things” made me tear up because it was from Thomas and the magic railroad!
In terms of The Royal Engine, I guess you could say that Sharon Miller had the last laugh, considering how hated she was due to her writing style in the past.
I am currently rewatching only the Sodor-related episodes of BWBA just to see what do I think of them as of now. The international ones (apart from a few like Yong Bao's episode being good), most of them are either mediocre or bad (and I never go near any of the Italy-based episodes because of Lorenzo, yeah sorry but I cannot stand him or Beppe). The Royal Engine really is a brilliant double-length episode because everything feels so right in this and Diesel's Ghostly Christmas is also pretty good (though it would've been better as a Christmas movie had The Great Race not exist). Also, there is a fun fact to point out, but Prince Harry's introduction and the marketing was criticized by Britt Allcroft (she did clarified her thoughts saying her concern was, in no way, about the actual writing of this story and did pass on good wishes to Michael White). This kinda marks the second time a key person working on Thomas other than Wilbert Awdry to criticize an episode since Wilbert Awdry's disdain for Henry's Forest.
Terrific job, Trevor! I like the idea of this alone, I find it cool. Oh, and after you're done with the unboxing video, I think you should work on your top 10 Nickelodeon shows (option n⁰3).

Speaking of non-televised books, I have a hunch that the book, Thomas Goes on Safari, was originally going to be an episode for S22, considering the footage we had from when BWBA was first announced back in 2017. And if S25 was actually greenlit, Mattel would've had the chance to adapt a particular book called Thomas Goes on Holiday, as it felt like a love letter for Thomas, and that Brighton was one of the featured landmarks in the book. It would definitely come full circle; Thomas leaving Brighton to work on Sodor and Thomas taking passengers around Great Britain for their holiday to Brighton. Oh, yeah. And there's also another book called Thomas and the Muddy Mishap! which looks like a S25 episode taking place during the events of Marvellous Machinery with Alfie as the main character. So, for potential ideas to adapt these books into episodes are as follows: Thomas Goes on Safari (S22) Thomas and the Muddy Mishap! (S25) Thomas Goes on Holiday (S25)
Are you sure that "Thomas Goes on Safari" was an actual episode, Jonathan? I checked on the wiki that only the book about Thomas going on safari was published and that the latter is not formed into an actual episode.

Did You Wish She Came Back In Full CGI? And What Do You Think Her Voice Actor Would Be?
I originally liked "Steam Team to the Rescue", but then when I watched it again for my Every Episode of Thomas & Friends Reviewed in 10 Words or Less video, this is honestly one of Davey Moore's worst scripts given by the poor execution, mostly forced humor, Sir Topham Hatt written like an actual moron like in MIR and DOTD, a dumb ending, and a rather rushed, dumb, and badly handled story plot. Though, the song "Don't Stop!" is actually quite good, even on my revisit. It isn't as insufferable as "The Way She Does It" (an episode also written by Moore), but it's still a terrible send-off to Season 23, and a not so good start to David Stoten's short-lived tenure as head writer. Both episodes from the "Marvelous Machinery" arc were the most gratuitous and stupidest episodes that I was no longer surprised I even thought they were semi-decent. Even if these two episodes that formed into one arc weren't all bad, nothing changes the fact these episodes made such poor choices, that they make MIR look more intelligent, realistic, logical, and decent to look at. I know I don't completely agree with anyone that says BWBA is the worst era in Thomas, but I won't deny that the "Marvelous Machinery" arc is flat out atrocious. I looked back on it last January, and I already regret looking back at what the fuck I watched last year. Knowing that these two episodes, along with "Kenji on the Rails Again" and "Cleo the Road Engine"; episodes I also grew to hate after rewatch for respective reasons, are written by the same people who wrote such classics from Seasons 17-18 by Paul Larson and Laura Beaumont had me asking: "What the hell happened?!" No consistency, no common logic, obviously forced plot conveniences, out of place inventions (ok maybe there are a couple exceptions), lazy rehashing on "Thomas and the Jet Engine" and every other episode that has the 'fear of replacement or being scrapped' trope we've already seen from previous episodes, and screwing over the Ulfstead National Railway Museum plot line to a technology fair that is the forced, gimmicky mindset this special has. There was already a chance this arc was going to be the worst story arc in the entire franchise!

@Trainking Productions 2022 Did What? What Do You Mean By That?
Knowing that these two episodes, along with "Kenji on the Rails Again" and "Cleo the Road Engine"; episodes I also grew to hate after rewatch for respective reasons, are written by the same people who wrote such classics from Seasons 17-18 by Paul Larson and Laura Beaumont had me asking: "What the hell happened?!"
No consistency, no common logic, obviously forced plot conveniences, out of place inventions (ok maybe there are a couple exceptions), lazy rehashing on "Thomas and the Jet Engine" and every other episode that has the 'fear of replacement or being scrapped' trope we've already seen from previous episodes, and screwing over the Ulfstead National Railway Museum plot line to a technology fair that is the forced, gimmicky mindset this special has. There was already a chance this arc was going to be the worst story arc in the entire franchise!
My rating:
STTTR: Awful
Digs and Discoveries: Okay
Diesel's Christmas Carol: Good
Marvelous Machinery: Bad
Thomas and the Royal Engine: Great
tbh, Marvelous machinery destroyed the franchise
Salty spins around is unrealistic
Trever davis there is something that I going to tell you about and you going to be pissed about this
I heard the Beresford has comford to be in all engines go
Yeah I noticed. Thanks for clarifying.
@@TrevortheTrainFan you welcome even though you hate all engines go
And I love all engines go I well still respect you opinion
The christmas diesel episode (I forgot what it was called)should definitely be ranked higher than Marvelous machinery.
In The Royal Engine Duchess should have been voiced by Lauren Graham who played Fran Lockwood(Flint's Mom) in CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS
Sharon Miller was the voice of Lady in TATMR
No she wasn’t. It was Britt Allcroft.
Also, these are my rankings for the current Double-Length Specials of Thomas & Friends
5.) Marvellous Machinery
4.) Steam Team to the Rescue!
3.) Digs and Discoveries
2.) Diesel's Ghostly Christmas
1.) Thomas and the Royal Engine
