You should do a series where you do houses from different countries. For example if you were doing Germany then look at some reference photos and make a house with the same idea as the reference photos.
As a person from New England, this house is so accurate. Especially since you put it in brindleton bay which is cape cod based. I grew up in cape cod so this is just perfect ❤️
Love this build 💟💟And the washer and dryer are actually in the right place (the garage) a lot of the homes in Texas, where I’m from, they are normally in the garage if the house has one but I have seen homes with separate laundry rooms or in older homes the washer and dryer are in the kitchen 🙂.
Hello! before everything I want to say you that you’re the most talented builder, and I love that you say United States or US, thanks for understand that America is not only méxico, the US and Canada, ily! I send you a big hug from Chile!
This is so beautiful! The family structure of mom, dad, daughter and son is often known as the standard 'nuclear' family and very realistic! I love this so much ❤️
I have a question: Why, why does every American house I see have carpet in the bedrooms instead of just wood?? Like, is it some sort of American secret??
I think it has to do with maintenance. Having wood in high traffic areas makes it easier to clean and bedrooms don't see as much traffic as the main rooms. Also, having your bare feet touch a cold wood floor in winter is down right disrespectful lol.
I commented on your last video that I hate builds with garages, but I love how the garage doesn't overpower this house. It blends in really well. It's a beautiful house!
i feel you🙈 i guess it also depends on the size of the country and population, where i'm from a lot of ppl live in houses, but they are not rich and the houses are nothing like this one
My husband and I are low to middle income. Trust me, we can NOT afford a big house. We currently do live in a house but we are renting it. It's also just a small 2 bedroom. Before this house I'd been in apartments for the last 22 years. OH yeah. I am american too I felt I should mention that.
@@melontarts yes, I'm in Massachusetts and it's so expensive to live here. The closer to Boston and in Boston rent is crazy. In my hometown 1 saw a studio apartment for $1400. That's more then this 2 bedroom house we're renting.
This is so great, you are so talented! I would absolutely love it if we got a cleaning pack so sims had chores and housework to do. I think it would bring more realism! 💗
I love your builds. I’ve started so many new games with your save. It’s literally all I use anymore. I end up checking TH-cam a couple times and day to see if you posted. It’s KIND of ridiculous. But your house designs, clutter, and landscaping are unmatched and they’re all super easy for me to adapt to my families and add my own touched with CC I used. Thanks for all your hard work!
This looks exactly like a suburban home from Minnesota! There’s a lot of landscaping on suburban homes because people want less grass to mow, and the size is very perfect. There are a few things that are different, but that’s probably because this is meant for New England, not Minnesota. We tend to have very rundown and stripped basements that are meant for laundry and storage. We also don’t have balconies. But yeah, this house is amazing! And also, what are your settings for shading? It looks really crisp and I want that look in my game 😊. Great video and sorry for my rambling!!
Since you've done an Ameircan home what about a "British" kind of home? Here houses usually joint together in pairs or rows but there are houses that are not. It would be a huge difference to what you normal build as British homes don't really have dining rooms or big kitchens or en suite bathrooms. Just a suggestion 😊
I love this house!! I TOTALLY agree about new neighborhoods never having enough plants btw! My husband and I have been looking around and that's one of my biggest pet peeves! Like there are so many BEAUTIFUL houses with bare yards and I'm like nooooo we need plants! 😂😂😂
I was really beginning to miss your videos and was even thinking that maybe you were feeling sick, given the pandemic and all that. Glad you're safe and back!
I'm always impressed by your talent 💙 Dawn, I noticed that in your save file the Diego Lobo's apartment, despite being gorgeous, wasn't build specifically for him (I think it was for an athlete, sporty sim, maybe?). I was wondering if it's in your plans, cause he's such an interesting sim, kinda over-the-top etc hahaha I think you could make his dream apartment and have a lot of fun with it! ☺️
I love this build!! 😍 For the crib, I heard it’ a Montessory style bed. Here in Canada, few of my parents friends has that kind of bed for their children.
I used to have a washer and dryer in my garage(We didn't put our car in there I also live in a different house now), so it's fine that you put yours there for the build.
when you mentioned ross i remember when i visited the us once and went to a ross, someone left an apple core on the ground. for some reason that has been ingrained into my memory
As someone from the Chicago suburbs, we have separate laundry rooms for the most part in our homes. We don’t have sandboxes but we have backyard space for grills and tables and such. There is no such thing as on en-suite bathroom unless you’re rich and our garages are usually two cars but if you have more cars or can’t fit them, it’s mostly street parking for us as we don’t have drive ways. We do have alleys though something apparently a big portion of the US lacks
Love this! I thought that it would be kind of a good idea to create a by the sea house for a couple of elderly people - he is a writer and she is retired but very active , loving gardening, baking and maybe painting? They love to spend time together, go for a walk on a beach and have lots of grandchildren that sometimes come to visit them. The house I see for them is in the type of a building that was in the movie ”nights in Rodanthe” :)
As a Born and Raised New Englander, I can tell you with 100% certainty that this area is without a doubt based on New England. Specifically Cape Cod but the entire theme applies to pretty much the entirety of the area. Vermont (Where I was born and raised before going into the Mlilitary and ending up an entire country away, lol) is pretty much entirely suburban homes aside from a few small areas that designated for apartments. Even most of the rentals in the area are houses. Nicely done on this build it feels genuine.
I think it would be fun if you would do that for more countries on their independence day. For example third of november a tipical german house or on the seventh of september a tipical brasilian house if you know what I mean😊 Edit: I love the house its really nice as always
So true about the fireworks. I’ve been hearing them in my neighborhood all week 😂😂 then last night there were like 3 or 4 houses setting them off at the same time around our neighborhood 😂
In the part of the country I live in this home would be pretty expensive. But it does feel ironically American. I've definitely been inside alot of homes like this. You did a great job!
HAAA the rigth bedside table in the parents bedroom is rotated lmao, i love the house tho and the kids bedroom gave me strong Andy from toy story vibes
Where I live in the USA ( South Eastern Massachusetts) most houses are ranches, farm houses, and colonial type houses. In the cities near here there are alot of Three-decker apartment buildings. I was sad that they canceled all the fourth of July events. My hometown always has a parade and fireworks. In Massachusetts fireworks are illegal but tons of people go to New Hampshire or Maine and buy them.
Hi dawn, i’m a new subscriber and i have been loving you videos and builds!! you are so creative and inspire me to build in the sims more. I was wondering if you could do a house for a family that fosters kids or something like that( i’m not sure if you have done something like this already, but i just thought this idea was super cute) thank you!!!
I think you can delte wall between living room and dining room because i think American hauses have that like open space so u can see evrything But hause is amazing ❤
Beautiful build, as always! Only thing I noticed that was “missing” was closets-here in the Midwest, at least, almost all bedrooms have closets instead of wardrobes. Who knows why? 😂
You should do a series where you do houses from different countries. For example if you were doing Germany then look at some reference photos and make a house with the same idea as the reference photos.
She should do each lot in New Crest with those houses!
yeah but i think making the inside authentic will be difficult even with references 😅
That's a huge project to ask from someone else, imo.
Noice idea
Msgryphi does this with different states
You should make a kids summer camp with lots of really fun activities
YES!
Totally!!!
heck yeah she should! that would be soo cool
this is crazy and has nothing to do with your comment but my nickname is Kit-Kat!
@@kateribeason2952 cool my name IRL is actually Kennedy but I am sometimes called Kitkat or kk :)
I LOVE this house so much I’m not even American but I think this looks so good❤️❤️

Same I'm british!
yuhhhhh get intooo iiiiiiiiiit
Why aren’t you American

Honestly. Since I’ve been watching your videos more I’ve started to grow on building and decorating✨
Yeah, me too! I've also loved building so much more!
This looks like it came straight out of my neighborhood😂
I wish i lived in your neighborhood lol
Kaylee Taylor LMao it’s a nice house ngl
Sameee
same!
Love this build 💟💟And the washer and dryer are actually in the right place (the garage) a lot of the homes in Texas, where I’m from, they are normally in the garage if the house has one but I have seen homes with separate laundry rooms or in older homes the washer and dryer are in the kitchen 🙂.
really? Up in Pennsylvania washers and dryers have their own room, often on the second floor for more expensive or newer houses.
it depends on the house, not every suburban home is the same. I live in VA and have never seen a laundry room in the garage, so house plans can vary.
In Illinois, most houses I’ve been to have the washer/dryer in either a closet, mud room or basement
Hmmmm in my house (I’m Canadian) our washer and dryer have a room downstairs
Hello! before everything I want to say you that you’re the most talented builder, and I love that you say United States or US, thanks for understand that America is not only méxico, the US and Canada, ily! I send you a big hug from Chile!
This exterior is probably my favourite exterior of yours that you have ever done. It’s literally *chefs kiss* 🥺
This is so beautiful! The family structure of mom, dad, daughter and son is often known as the standard 'nuclear' family and very realistic! I love this so much ❤️
Haha looks exactly like my family home in Minnesota
I can see why you'd struggle with artwork because in my house (in the U.S.) we have a painting of a hairless cat in a tuxedo
That’s amazing!
@@helplessnarwhal3722 thanks!
This is ... This is a great painting.

Not every home here does. If you go to the south you’d find more wood to help with cooling the house down bc it’s hotter there
Same in the uk the rest of Europe finds us wierd
In the UK we have it too! My house was a new build and when we moved into it there was carpet in every room, even the bathrooms😂
@@KatrinaSims Carpet in the bathroom? That should be illegal lmao
I commented on your last video that I hate builds with garages, but I love how the garage doesn't overpower this house. It blends in really well. It's a beautiful house!
it baffles me how in the states middle income families can afford a whole big HOUSE like this one. in my country only rich people live in houses 😂
i feel you🙈 i guess it also depends on the size of the country and population, where i'm from a lot of ppl live in houses, but they are not rich and the houses are nothing like this one

LITERALLY
i live in the uk every house is really small and in poland, where i'm from, almost everybody lives in flats/apartments.

THIS BUILD IS BEAUTIFUL
I love this. I love the garage. It makes it so much more real.
when you mentioned ross i remember when i visited the us once and went to a ross, someone left an apple core on the ground. for some reason that has been ingrained into my memory
Definitely looks similar to Colorado Suburban homes :)
U should do a mansion with like 7 or 8 kids. I think that would be awesome and super cool. I need it for my 10 kids challenge.
And I’m a terrible builder.
I love your videos I am your biggest fan and I love your speed video you made so much my Videos
I love your videos! I want to be an architect when i grow up, and I love the sims 4 because all I do is build.
I love this! Its so fun when people build things like this!
Great job! I used to live in Atlanta, & this home reminds me of some my husband and I used to live by!
hehe i love the fireworks on the thumbnail!! (ofc i love the building aswell!!:))
Incredible job on this build! You are seriously talented and I love watching your videos I like that you inspire me to want to play Sims 4 more LOL
This is literally the most realistic house I’ve probably seen being built on the Sims 4! 🤗🤗
This house totally reminds me of houses in new developments off of main roads I always see! It's so realistic for the southeast/mid-west US
O.O I think this is my fav build you’ve ever done!

Hi from Oregon! Really enjoyed this build ❤️
It looks very similar in style to the houses in my neighborhood. I’m in Eastern WA
I usually put a teddy bear on sectional couches to cover the glitches!
Do you have any ideas for Vlad's mansion? Maybe build Mansion from "Dark shadows", really good film and house from this film would worked perfectly.

Super cute!!!! ✨❤️
Omg I love this build so much!!! Could you do a build for an Australian home 🏡 🏡
A real estate agent in the Midwest would DEFINITELY live in this house
i- you think american kids like school? no way, we take school for granted and HATE it.
Wish you would build more American builds... great job
Look up homes in a planned community in Valencia CA called Bridgeport we get some of the houses like east coast too lol.
