I own an Xtool M1. Absolutely love it. The soap engraving is tricky as the colors affect the laser engraving. I love putting my logo on soap. Wide Blue masking tape is very helpful. Also think about small gifts, promotional items, engraved soap holders, the list is endless 😊yes I have been down the rabbit hole! lol. I find masking tape inside clear jars faster than the paint ideas. Hope this gives you some ideas and good luck!
@owlstreasuresinc8534 so you use M1 model to print on soaps and before printing applied blue masking tape on the surface of the soap, then print, is that right?
Wow! 🤯 so.many.possibilities 😁 just a quick thing, I noticed the soap surface may not have been completely flat (looked angled when you held it up) so that may be why the engraving didn’t quite work consistently. You can get little string line levels from your local hardware store that might be helpful? That way you can just pop the teeny level on the surface of the soaps to make sure they’re level/need propping up. 😊
So were you able to do it on soap? I’ve been making soap for my friends and family for years. It would be nice to be able to put a little quote on them.
Ok COOL!! Also, it looked like the 2 dots weren’t aligned before you did the metal lid so I think that’s why it wasn’t as crisp looking as the plastic lid. But super cool machine and thank you for sharing with us! Excited to see what all you make with it!

Please do more of soap engraving settings video tutorial if you can, over 1 year I was almost begging one soap maker to just share the name of the laser machine but she didn’t say a word. I ended up buying the wrong one and it is now in the storage room unfortunately

Oooh❤ I've wanted one for a while, so lucky! I think it would be awesome if you figure out how to print soap, you could do custom soaps for weddings with a picture of husband and wife. Or baby feet for a baby shower gifts. Also with the wood, you could make car fresheners somehow, LOL i haven't really looked into that very much yet. I do love the look of the lids though! Very professional and elegant looking.
My husband has an xtool and does all my jar lids and candle lids. His is much larger, so he does 24 at a time. It is a game changer
