Man, i can't even imagine how playing with a party this big must be like, but by your enthusiasm eveything seems to be going fine (i mean, aside from the brutal deaths and all that).
Wow. Thats alot of work and it looks great. Karl, Veran, and (Brokk...?) are my favorites. Sorry to hear Veran kicked the bucket. Gunnar the Undying looks great. Hamhunch is the stuff of nightmares. Thank you so much for linking the models and makeing them avalible for people to use/learn from. Some of the double layering is just the most boss thing I've seen. Love that biker vest/military jacket combo.
Oh damn! I didn't know you had a youtube channel! I've seen some of your amazing works on the heroforge subreddit, you've very much inspired me in my models. Seeing the process is very informative and these characters look amazing. Great work, mate.
your build vids got me back into both hero forge and DnD. I problem spend more of my free time just building random people on hero forge then i do playing game or watching shows, its just fun.
Concerning the banner you were trying to duplicate at 22:45, particularly the cross, if you take a square decal and then layer the Four Points decal on top with the corners aligned you'll get very close to that cross shape. Then just color the four points decal the same as the background.
That does sound like a creative way to achieve it, though if I were to use 2 decals for that, I wouldn't be able to have the dragon and the sword as well
@@Derfholm I don't have pro, but how many decals do you get with kitbashing with 2 models? Would it be possible to use one from the extra model? It looks like you could've used the book's native decal option for one of the items you used on it instead of kitbashing both. In any case, really like your channel, you've helped me out a ton with my models and I've only been forging for a few weeks.
@@benmoore8809 You get 3 decals for each model, so 6 in total, but since that black flat surface is only one of the 2 models, I can't use 6, only 3 - they don't overlap onto the 2 different models I'm afraid

I was proud of myself for making some models that look cool to me but I clearly have a way to go its probably on the lower end of impressive compared to what you and the pros do. Love the videos btw they help me gather inspiration and try to get better at modeling on hero forge I'm just being hard on myself.

given that i cant find it in the description's music credits, its probably part of the runescape soundtrack (derf uses it a lot from what i can tell), have you tried looking through that?
He was! He's still a friend of ours but he had to dip out of the campaign due to being a Raid Leader on World of Warcraft etc so he was just a bit too busy to engage in DnD as well
Derf, all jokes aside, you should do a cyberpunk worldbuild video about a sci-fi/futuristic gang of misfits and characters that are taking on another band of misfits and characters. I think it would be super cool, since you've never done a sci-fi world build before, except for the star wars one.
@@Derfholm You sure are, we have gotten no DUCK tutorial and not even a tutorial to make DERF himself, imagine the worlds response to those videos you would become a billionaire
Hey, I had a question: I noticed that no matter how well I pose my two minis to match together, there's always a slight mismatch, which is especially visible at the eyes. Is there a way to get around that?
There's actually always, even on my models, a very very slight but sometimes noticeable mismatch. There's no way you can get away from it, but it's usually to such a small degree that I don't notice it myself- If you're referring to a more noticeable one though, then it's hard for me to give advice without seeing it directly. All I can recommend is pulling them as close as you can and looking at something small and distinct like the ears to make sure they fully sync up
@@Derfholm Oh well, if even the best can't do anything about it, then I guess I just have to tolerate it. Thanks for the answer, at least now I know not to pay much mind to it.
