Happy 4th of July!

Independence Day falls on a Thursday this year, and what better way to celebrate than a throwback Thursday of our Revolutionary War history?
George Washington’s feats during the war are well established. However, the History Department at Shadow Systems has recently uncovered never-before-seen footage of Washington’s bold crossing of the Delaware River.
All jokes aside, we spent time pulling original quotes from Washington and Thomas Paine (who Washington is said to have quoted before the river crossing, although this is disputed). The dialogue herein includes things Washington actually said at various points in history. Our favorite was his “request” for his General Henry “Ox” Knox to scoot over before Washington boarded his boat.
