Damn. We live in age when devs are compensating lack of optimalisation by DLSS and such. Soon we will be in age where they compensate lack of graphics with AI generated one.
In fact, we are going to live in a time when there will be no developers or companies with hundreds or thousands of workers to make a game, you can make the game you want, whatever you like, from your home and in seconds or minutes you will have it.

Why does Rockstar always use such a heavy filter in their video games and why can’t they make their games look this real 3:20?
Coz it's what sells. Trust me on this majority of gamers don't really want an exact replica of real life. Gta 5 rdr 2 and spiderman 2 are some of the best graphical masterpieces there might be. But they sold so much because there was an angle of comic bookness or cartoonishness in them.
Gta 6 will also sell a lot and not due to realism but due to the fact that there will be some angle of video game in that.
Video games should never be ultra realistic. They are cartoons and a game afterall. They should remain that way.

this just shows that some colors on materials in video games are just completely the wrong shade and completely unrealistic they are always perfect colors (bright green grass, perfect brown wood,) the ai used more realistic, wet or aged colors

Exactly, i was messing around with Fallout 4 ENBs and noticed it, whenever i bumb green and yellow tones, blow out lights, bloom, and increase Depth of Field levels it starts looking vastly more realistic than the basic ENB preset.
Incredible, this looks so trippy since its showing the visual look of video games in the future, they would appear like a perfect mix of perfect realism along with gameplay elements.

This is rather so cool. You can use AI to upscale objects and make them more realistic. This could speed up the process and allow for the game to have much more props and buildings and other stuff.
Imagine, you make a simple brick wall in blender without any colour and then let AI upscale it and add details. You just have to control the design.

I image a future where anyone can sit at home with their computor building a 3D environment with geometric shapes that can be AI generated to resemble anything and then on top of that - AI visuals/imagary can be rendered.
This will allow for any single person to be able to create high quality photoreal both movies and games. Just imagine the liberation of artists and ideas, passion projects and revolution of human expression.

Within 5 years we will be able to put in a text prompt and a.i will create any game we want, and the graphics will be indistuingishable from the real world
if there is already a technology for creating frames in real time DLSS, then similar realistic filters right in the game will be soon. GTA 6 could look like real life with this
While ai is in early stages but it lacks the artistic style and color pallette of actual game it looks "realistic" but also very bland like a UE5 demo.

I dont know anything about making games or ai. i would assume if they could have the ai stream the games they develop in real time as theyre being played, video games would become movies in terms of graphics
If only they could create a mod for games that would take a picture from the screen and make it in real time in real time, and then display it on top of another one. I think for such a task you will need incredibly good hardware
I feel like it’s mostly just needed for the textures and faces for this effect. If a program can overlay only for those things in real time, I think it can probably run on most decent hardware today

What about you just apply ai filter to the characters face only? Bcuz few thing that make game still not really realistic is the face. you can see its still a 3d animated model/not realistic enough. While the environment itself is already pretty realistic.
Same technique in movie. The environment could be fully CGI while the actor is still a real person. bcuz everyone can see that if you replace real person with CGI character it doesnt look realistic

Am I the only one who feels a bit nauseous when watching AI video? It feels exactly like a fever dream, or sea sickness, and my brain/body reacts similarly.
There’s an uncanny valley feeling for sure, but at the same time for me it’s more like a realism filter through a vintage camera feeling.
@@crunchysauce Interesting. Do you suffer from motion sickness in VR? I think that similar ill feeling is also related to Stendhal syndrome, which I’ve had twice before when standing in a giant aquarium, and when staring for hours at artwork I was working on. I can only assume it has something to do with the brain being tricked into believing what it is seeing but unable to reconcile the actual physicality of unnatural vision with inner ear motion. It would seem AI video has that same effect on me.
