@@HomeProHero finished up my pavilion roof last weekend. Did the ridge cap in the same "spread eagle crawl" method. Man that was not a fun process! The roof itself was fine but the ridge cap install was brutal.
@@HomeProHero yes sir I just did a roof on my shed and she was like well how you get up there by yourself?! I was done she had me dead to rights on that one.
You are very good and detailed at this. I like how you explained your reasoning for doing a task on this project. Did you build the pavilion yourself? If so, did you buy drawings/plans for this? From where? It looks awesome. Congrats
Thanks for watching and your kind comments! Yes I did the entire pavilion myself and I also created that plans. Check out this video for more info on the this build. I do offer the the detailed sketches for members on my channel. Memberships are $2.99 a month cancel anytime so the plans would cost you $2.99 if interested. Here is that video: th-cam.com/video/vYV0NvsZjEo/w-d-xo.html
They are 6x6 Cedar Tone. Got them from Menards. Basically AC2 Green Treated for ground contact but brown :) I think I cover all of the details here th-cam.com/video/vYV0NvsZjEo/w-d-xo.html
And people said your Army crawl would never come in handy in real life. Props on the drone comment! Are you going to put in any screening to keep insects out or will you rely just on the smoke?
Man you are a WORK HORSE! Love watching you just go, go, go! Looks amazing!
Wow, thanks!
Just the ideas I need to build my pavilion…thanks for sharing👏👏

We all know all the hard work you’ve put into this project and you can tell you were scared to ask her for help. Lol
You know it! :)
Trying to decide whether or not to add a flying truss like you have to my gazebo??
Not sure what you are talking about "Fly Truss???
@@HomeProHero the end trusses on the gables that you have. they aren't supported by the support beams, they are tied to the next truss
The last truss on both ends (2x8's) are unsupported and screwed to the perlins that run across the tops of all of the trusses. Hope that helps
@@HomeProHero yes exactly!
What size are you posts? 6x6, 8x8?
