My ik f pro 2 was obtanied from amazon. It is new but no well jet sprayed.
Dude this video saved my year old IK Foam Pro 2. It was starting to struggle a bit. Now it feels brand new when I pump it and use it.

Amazing brother resolved my problem
Thanks for the video. No liquid or foam was coming out of my ik foam pro 2 when I pressed the trigger. Thought it was defective and watched the breakdown of the video. Long story short I had to replace the already installed filter with one of the extra filters that came with the unit. Now everything is working as intended.
Thank you! I almost threw away the one I had for 2 years. It kept spraying liquid. Watched your video and found out the o-ring gaskets got ruined from the chemical I used (wheel and rubber cleaner). Well after $5 and a good cleaning works like new!
I’ve used mine about 4 times. The foaming part is not the problem, the issue is I only get foam for about 10 seconds and then it’s just a straight line.
I pump it until the I hear the valve whistle. It’s never completely full but not too little product either.
I’ll check the filter but not sure what else to do except take it apart and clean it.
I had forgotten to put the exterior sleeve on and that is the second plastic piece that sticks into the liquid. Once I put that back on it should work. I had forgotten I had taken it off. Hopefully you got yours working.

Ideally you grease the gaskets/O rings with a little silicone grease.
Is there a recommended grease for the piston?

I actually washed the black grease away the first time i tried to clean my IK Foam pro 2, i didn't know it was the grease for the pump, i thought it was like a melted plastic parts, should i reapply a grease into it?
Need help pls. I cannot remove the green/red storage cap if my life depended on it :) Pls help. The wife spray attachment is stuck in there lol.

Do you offer a shorter wand for the ik foam pro 12. I shorter lance would better for using on wheels.

My valve is starting to stick
Edit: awesome i was able to take it apart. Clean out the hole it sets in and lubed up the small o-ring. I also found a small piece of what looked like MF where that small output hole it. Cant wait to see if that was affecting anything.
Thanks for this vid. Was having problems getting mine to foam correctly . Hopefully doing what you've demonstrated will help. May I ask what the difference is with the coloured connectors is as I'm using the grey one & you used the orange . Many Thanks from a UK viewer
As far as I know green is dry foam and gray is intermediate foam and oranges wet foam. I like green for tires and wheels.

I like to run warm water through mine after each use to save from having to do this often
The pointed plastic piece at 6:45. The tiny rubber gasket closest to the tip on my IK Foam 1.5 was deformed. I reassembled the whole thing, and it sprays as I pump up the foamer without pressing the trigger. Does The Rag Company or IK sell those tiny gaskets?

how often do you have 2 clean them?
Depends on the detailing chemical used in them. The ones we have in our studio we haven't cleaned in a while, but every now and then we cycle water through them to release any gunk build up.
One day my handle just started coming straight out . Doesn’t let foam build up

Mines keep spraying without pressing the trigger!
Tried everything and Ik sprayer keeps spraying without me pressing the trigger. Wasted 30 mins trying to clean this and nothing

change the foam inside the nozzle of the purple rip , they give you 10
wayyyy too much work. in the trash my ik sprayer goes!
