    DK4510 weighs about 3400 lbs. Loader weighs another 1300 lbs. Add fluid in rear tires and you are over 5000 lbs. Weight is everything on a tractor. Especially when you are on hills. I had an 18 year old DK40 that had no major problems but no loader. Traded up to a DK4710se with loader and 3rd function with ballasted tires last April. Kioti makes great machines for the $$.

      Thanks for the information, I tried to do some kind of research before making these videos and just couldn't find the numbers. I still haven't found a job she can't tackle.

    That was a very wholesome video brother! Thank you for the information and the thorough walk-through. I actually am interested in your grappled bucket though lol! I'm going to follow you to see what luck you have out of the DK series. I plan to purchase a DK series tractor this year myself unless something just slaps me in the face to choose a different shade of orange or a different color. Thanks!

      Thank you for supporting our channel! The grapple is made by CID Attachments out of North Carolina I think. I looked at all the designs out on the market and really like the dual claw setup because of the pine trash and stumps we are cleaning up. If we went with the single claw clam shell style, I think we would have issues grabbing uneven piles. The one thing it won't do is grab and hold or rake piles of small sticks (24"). When we get into the small stuff we have to just spread the pile and pick it up by hand.

    I have only seen the Ck2610 and CK3510 at my nearest dealer. I'm still in the market so hopefully I can see a DK model.

      I'm not sure where the market is on the DK tractors at the moment. We looked locally and in our state for three months until we finally found one in Georgia. Unless you feel the need to buy local, I would set your sights on any dealer that has one. Most of them will set up some ability to ship it to you also.

      @@FightingIbisFarms My wife told me to make a road trip to Tennessee but that's a long drive from South Texas. Does any dealer honor the warranty even though purchased elsewhere. I also want the 3rd function, grapple and rear hydraulics for my top link.

      @@cutweldngrind Larry Stovesa has sold a bunch of tractors, even one to a co-worker of mine who's very happy with his purchase I believe. Whenever he needs work done to it, we have a dealer in Ocala that will work on whatever you bring him or will come and get it. The dealer down the road from where I live specifically states they only work on what they sell. So just do your homework and if you feel like you are not capable of working on it yourself with possibly warranted parts sent to you from the purchasing dealer, I would keep that in mind. You're on the right track, if you know you're going to need the grapple, go ahead and order that with the third function to make life a little easier on yourself. When it rolls off the trailer you can go right to work. Thankfully, I have not needed to exercise a warranty on this tractor, anything that has come up has been because of my own stupidity and I was able to solve it for relatively cheap and through local parts stores like NAPA.

    I have the same exact tractor and built a custom fuel tank protector. The thin sheet of metal they used bent down within the first week of grapple use. Oh and be careful with the grapple. I’ve busted all the black plastic inserts. Building a grill insert will be next before I order replacement inserts.

    Check out the bar stabilizer, I think Kioti has them for the 45 series. Pats are better for my use as well. Luck from 3510 owner.

      Next time I am in the store I will look at upgrading to the stabilizer bars. Having the same issues keeping the chains tight with using tools on the back.

    The fuel tank is well protected and is easy to fill. I have just under 500 hours on my 2 year old DK5510 with a good deal of brush work and some woods work and no issues with the location. It is nice being able to balance a 20 ltr (5 Gallon) can on the front tire and fill the tank without having to hold it up.

    Nice tractor. My Kioti CK 2610 has been a great tractor. Your DK 4510 just may be my next one if I decide to upgrade down the road. I will keep looking at your videos from time to time. Check out the rock rake (land scape rake). I just got one and found it worked great on my drive way. Leveling added gravel..perfect. Got it for the horse corral but its a inexpensive implement of many uses

    Welcome to the pack! I've had my DK 4510 since July, 2018. I absolutely love it! Pat's Easy Change system is awesome. As for the stabilizer turnbuckles: the NX-style bars are worth the money! I also upgraded my leveling block from the turnbuckle style, to a crank-style. My only dislike is the battery location.

    Go ahead and move those blinkers off the ROPS onto the fenders. I had a CK3510 which has the same thing and broke both of mine on tree limbs.

    We have been looking at this same tractor and really like everything about it but we're not sure about it only having a hi and low range unlike some of the other brands having the 3rd mid range has this been an issue for you?

    • @FightingIbisFarms
      @FightingIbisFarms  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't feel like I am missing a Mid-Range option. I find myself doing finesse box blade work in Low Gear 1&2, loader work in Low Gear 3&4, and running my disc between Low 4/High 1. I can not honestly say I have been in a position where I was working and needed a little more or wish I had a little less. I also try to keep my RPM's around 1500-2000 when working. I suggest you all take some time and find yourselves a dealer that would let you test drive it and see if it's what you truly want. Also I have added a link to a Tractor Mike video that goes into many transmission options and the pros and cons. Good luck on your journey!

      I have a DK 5510 and don't miss the mid range at all. The extra 10 hp may be the difference but I have almost 500 hours doing everything from gravel work, digging, bush hogging, mowing snow blowing and plowing and never felt that I didn't have the right range available.

    How much of a PIA is battery access - do you have to take the step off to replace it, jump it etc?

    • @FightingIbisFarms
      @FightingIbisFarms  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could not definitively give you an answer on that because I have not had a chance or a need to mess with it. I have seen people mention on the KIOTI Facebook group that it is a pain to get into but I'm not sure if it takes a lot of time or you just have to unbolt everything.

    I just bought the same tractor in August. Do you have a problem with the 4 speed leaver interfering with the bucket control when you are in 1st and 3rd gear?

  • @hydraulicshop69
    @hydraulicshop69 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    In short gpm (flow) is speed pressure is from the pump or system is lift capability. If you put 2 gal a min in a cylinder it will move a certain speed. If you put 2000 psi in a cylinder it will lift a certain amount hope that helps a lil.

    • @FightingIbisFarms

      That’s a very uninformed comment. Where are John Deere’s engines made? Bobcat’s tractors are Kioti. Most of the major tractor builder’s parts are from offshore. It will take many President Trumps to bring US made back to USA!

      It's called capitalism, chief. Why would a wise consumer overpay for a product just because they were ASSEMBLED in America by overpaid union workers? By the way, I use to work as a UAW employee and got sick and tired of garbage workers keeping their jobs because the union protected them. I also own a DK4210 SE Cab and couldn't be happier -- supporting American service and helping American jobs. Ill gladly buy American IF the product is superior and it is priced reasonably. I refuse to enable entitled workers just because they are "American".
