Large bolts is easy to make, Unholds are an easy fight after 20 days if you know what you are doing and 14 with same fatigue is objectively better than 10. Likewise, you are going to be fighting Unholds because bone plating is extremely useful to improve value of BF armour. 14 bolts is obviously more useful to keep any kind of crossbow bro versatile in a long fight and versatility is the most valuable attribute in this game. Your point is just objectively wrong. Also, being polite is free, they don't charge you for it. You should try it.
