Using above mentioned suggestion I have raised my salary to 177.77%.
My salary was bit more than 3LPA.
I decided to switch.
I get offer from company A for 5.4LPA.
I negotiate and they raised it to 6LPA using no offer tactics discussed in this video.
Then I got other offer for 7LPA from company B (using previous offer as base).
I asked company A that I am not interested.
But they(A) offer 9-10 LPA.
I told company B that I really want to join but "can you please do something about the numbers" as A has raised offer to 9-10.
They[B] offered 9+1(Variable).
Now I have 2 offers of around 10LPA.
So this was my journey from 3 to 10.
Also In this whole journey I got 4-5 offers ranging from 6 to 10.
Experience: 2020 passout from 4th tire college
Companies are still blood sucking creature, i started my career in 2013 and the CTC they used offer that time was also 3 Lakh. While considering the inflation it should be now around 6 Lakh but they won't miss any chance to exploit the employees.

Yes. ! You need to share. In India this is how it works.
Just one offer letter and build on that.

I had two offers when I was a fresher. Now please note they were not faang companies but just very small firms. And although the salary is not as great but I had a first had experience with dealing with offers and negotiations. I vouch for the tips Love Babbar is giving here because my strategy was kind of similar. There were a few differences but still.

@@vilw4739 Can? You must. I negotiated even when I had no experience. You can too. Make sure you have the following info:
1) Range if salary offered by company.
2) Another job offer on basis of which you can negotiate.
3) Market Value for your skillset and experience level.
If you do some research and have concrete information then you can negotiate easily.

I would love to know from you how to negotiate in a situation where we have a notice period of 90 days. I really need some insights on this.
You can tell that my current project suppose to renew on end of this month (e.g. 31st May). If it will not renew, then I can join in 30 days, else I have to wait 90 days. Maximum cases, they will arrange interview. If you crack all rounds and get an offer, then tell them.. my project has renewed, I have to wait 90 days. I applied this approach, and serving 90 days notice period🙂
As a fresher's I think muskil hota hai negotiate krna, agar aap k pas 3-4 offers ho tb sayad* ho jaaye, pr wo v chance kam hota hai, aapko salary components k upar hi decision lena hota.
These things applicable for experience guy not for freshers

Bro i did both way ..and goes almost 3.5 times more than my current CTC. From current CTC 7.5 to 25 lpa in big 4 company. Try karte raho yar acha mil jata hai.
