Thnx for understanding our issue. It's really tough time for us, but all we can do is Believe that things will get better and give our best in preparations.
Can you give me a rough idea after how much time this IT sector will book again?
The layoffs for 2008 were different , it was due to mismanagement of a banking system !! but the layoffs in 2023 are different , it is due to recession, saturation , less demand and more supply, and generative Ai tools. it is not easy to learn all of the things in first go for a fresher dev + dsa+ complex project + ML+ Ai, +system design +oops+ computer fundamentals !
still out main focus should be on PREP only

Only studying dsa with pre generated questions makes less sense rather that applying dsa while making projects or working on a project and bring up more functionality and complexity and resolve with dsa
For ex .
I have seen list of projects to work on for beginners and for ones who are ahead in field
And one thing that i got fascinated about was building recommendation system design
Although it is old as a aged wine
But this concept is still sweet in todays perspective
And i researched about it
And it took me to some database type- graph database like neo4j
Then it made me curious to learn graph ds to implement it while working eith that type of system and awaken the zeal to finally learn python to touch base of machine learning

The main problem is , if you got the job as well, it is not sure whether you can be in that job for a particular time , as you can be laid off or can be replaced easily, and that is the main fear! after getting job you can be laid off !!

DOUBT - Keeping all AI advancement in mind and seeing the current Job scenario, what skills are expected from fresher applying for SDE role.
Like how should I adapt to current market trends. I was doing MERN stack till now, should I switch to AI ML NLP etc?
Go for cloud computing eg. AWS
