    Bro thank u, I had been struggling mechanically and I’m a po now in college when I haven’t consistently pitched in 4 years . My velo dropped like 7 mph cause of the transition, this video got me back on track thank u

    I love this observation on hand path. Once he breaks from his glove the ball is pretty much on plane to the plate the entire time. I see lots of guys (young guys esp.) over rotate and get the ball so far around that they are presenting the ball to the hitter behind their back. It takes some time to get the ball back on plane towards the plate, so their arm is late/lagging behind at foot strike. This inefficient, off plane delivery makes them slow to the plate and is leaking velocity throughout the sequence.
    The more I study pitching mechanics, the more I feel like what you just described is approaching optimal mechanics. Quick to the plate, controlled, velocity generating, and kinder on the kinetic chain.
