My suggestion to all those who are planning to buy a Compact SUV is to just test drive this car once whether Diesel or Petrol. I’m sure you won’t consider any other car in this segment. It simply leaves all the other cars miles behind in its segment.

There should be some price point analysis as well. In W6, the pricing is quite competitive and AMT does sound like a great idea. At W8, price point the VFM probably tilts towards other cars providing TC / DCTs. This would complete your analysis to a large extent. Otherwise nice review.👍
Agreed totally. The W8 variant is not worth the price, unless one if hell bent on towards buying a Mahindra car. W6 variant makes more sense, but there has been way too much cost-cutting in W6 due to which one might opt for a different brand again.

It offers u the best in class torque, and off course the best safety of all.. the interior is very spacious and is very bold in looks.. bolder than what is seen on videos.. take my recommendation and go with the xuv 300... It has all the suv stants .. sonet looks like w hatchback... Sonet gets only features... Sirf Magnite CVT offer karti hai, baaki sabhi ya toh Torque converter, DCT ya AMT offer karti hain. Agar Petrol automatic hi chahiye toh aap Brezza/Urban cruiser dekh sakte ho.

Bro i terms of raw performance nothing can beat xuv300 in its segment. It's better u take test drive of both the cars. One one more thing Sonet ka suspension stiff hai ,u will feel everything inside.

One of the major reason for amt gear box is xuv 300 is already have higher price than rivals and putting advance gear box dct torque converter again can cost more than lakhs . Anyways automatic cars are for comfort not for enthusiasts

When sonet and venue giving that much gear option, why mahindra and Tata throwing Amt. Torque converter would be an excellent pick.
Still the old school white or Beige interior. Even the Jeep Compass has introduced full black interior . This beige interior suits only for sedans .
