Man, I wish they had not screwed up the head development by not looking over the shoulder of the twits that made it, and had, instead, done more in-house, so that the R/T's head would not destruct from time. BTW, you can now build a darn good clone of the R/T engine by using a DOHC Neon head and 2.5 common block. For being a 4 door sedan with no "sporty" in its design, the Spirit R/T is just a flat out legend, few cars ever are so often overlooked, but yet so incredibly overperformed.
I had one like this, great car simple and reliable and myine was a turbo, and though they say turbo's were a problem mine ran great. So you clearly out powered the Boxster but do you hear all that wind noise and feel how it becomes unstable at high power like that?
