Oboz Cottonwood competition for Hoka? Is it good for travel and trail ?

A short update on a new shoe I'm trying for travel and light hiking and photography. I needed a shoe that is moderately waterproof yet comfortable for travel in airports and long car trips. After trying several of the Obox models and Merrells, this seems to work the best so far.
