We use a spud bar, it is like a hoe but straight. We don’t pull up the pad, start along a seam and put the scraper under pad and go around the room. Almost all the staples stay in the pad. Roll up the loose pad and sweep up the loose pad staples. Try it once, after I show it to most installers, they start doing it. One guy I work with will scrape it up like this , then fold it in half the long way and roll it up. Says it’s easier to load in van and put in dumpster.
Good stuff I like those kneepads👌🏼 I always turn my razor blade around in my scraper and save my fresh edge but roughing it up and using one particular blade for that works. Looking good bro you have slim down a lot💪🏼
You wanna use super scraper 4” teeth blades thank me later it’s a thicker razor scraper blade with teeth that doesn’t break and will last the duration of the teeth about 100 rip out scrapes per blade.
no problem brother really grab them i am telling you that is the greatest method i was a rip out man for ten years i wish there was a small demo hammer that would help im still looking into it but by hand that is by far the greatest method superscraper teethed blades no more broken blades and digging into the wood the duller the better scrape the sharp edge down a few times with a sharpening stone youll be good to go i use the t handle orcon 4" scraper as well@@FloorsbySouthernboys
@@FloorsbySouthernboys video was just fine if you have minor home renovation experience. I just happen to have that tool in my arsenal. Going to attempt, thank you! 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the instructions and advice. This will save me a bunch of time redoing our top floor.
Thanks for the video. How about the longer staples that they use for underlayment

Yeah, I used to do it like that when I used a standup scraper.
I just put the blade in backwards when using on wood.. then turn it around so I have a sharp blade for when I need the scrapper on concrete
😀👍
