Since Minecraft is now six times larger than it was during the Minecon days, it's unlikely that it will be as rare as the Minecon capes. my guess is that they're gonna have around 15-20k players
I think it'll be obtained at the IRL event and in their promotional server. Mojang doesn't want rare capes to be a thing anymore since people steal accounts just for the capes so they'd just want everyone to get a chance to get the cape.

I mean it makes sense because if they just kept the same cape design then it would be boring after a while soooo.... ye).

1:24 those kind of experiences is such a gamble because it's either close to you or on the other side of the world. Meaning it's not fair because you have to be rich to first travel and then get the ticket to get the experience. If it actually go all around the world, it's only specific countries in certain continents. Leaving many still left behind even though not as expensive, but still luck base. Minecon is one of the events of all time but only America specific. Which means you're either rich or live close and able to travel relatively easily.

If this cape is for the irl experience, then sadly i won’t be able to get the cape. Awhile ago I heard a rumor that we will get 2 new capes this year, so this villager cape is definitely one of those two! I think the second cape in this rumor will be the mob vote cape, but the villager cape here could also be it possibly.

I hope that each edition in each city provides a different cape, if they travel the world distributing only this cape, it will certainly not be so rare anymore by the end of the tour.

If it comes to many major cities then it won't be too bad of a situation to get, but still a bit annoying. What made the MCC cape so great was that anyone could try and obtain it for FREE. If they made another challenge cape but with much harder challenges then it would be better than having to pay for an in-person event. IMO capes should be earned and not paid for or given for no reason.
the design could be better but it fits the theme of the event. i dont love the cape but i love collecting rare and exclusive things so ill try to attend the event. :)

As a Mexican I think if it does come out in Mexico the cities where it will be available will be… Tijuana Baja California,Mexico city,Guadalajara and Monterrey.

hmmmm... the cape artstyle looks suspicious to me.... minecraft is recently changing their artstyle a bit and this cape has very weird texturing that minecraft doesnt really do anymore. it doesnt have any hightlights on the actual cape, and the villager might just be a rip off. its not hard to make that kind of cape for some 1 who has an experience (i know that cuz i do have experience) anyways, there might be a reward, and probably a cape but im not sure if this cape is going to be the one we see right here. i really dont think minecraft is going to make cape that is basically pay to win.
