It's not gonna matter really when all these big companies, corporations and government elites are dumping everything into oceans, lakes, etc. And using private jets to pollute unfortunately
That particular coffee is especially good if used in a regular drip coffee maker (with a reusable fine mesh metal filter, of course. I’ve found that paper filters just don’t work as well, especially with espresso-ground). Nice and rich…bold, and I can add the amount of cream I like without watering-down of the flavor.
It's just like espresso machine. But in espresso machine you don't have to clean those pods. Just wipe portafilter with clean water and rug and it's done.
@@theentrepreneur7777One of the Flair manual espresso machines are about $100, just under maybe. Only other device required is a decent digital scale that can measure to 0.1 grams. Those are maybe $15 so not too bad. I guess something to boil and carefully pour water too, but most people have a kettle or a spouted mug with a microwave. Edit: Also, moka pots are dirt cheap and make really good concentrated espresso-style coffee. Different taste, especially the body, but it’s really good with medium-dark and dark roast like Bustelo.
It's not eco friendly if the replacement parts are also made of plastic. Plastic machine. Plastic coffee bucket. Plastic seals. Plastic accessories. None of it is nessecary.
@@sixthsenseamelia4695 it looks like you confuse a simplistic lifestyle and an eco-friendly one, yes the coffee machine parts can become a burden on the ecosystem, but as long as you use the same machine for a long time it's not that grave of a problem
@@emogolem all good. You need to removed the foil and refill and seal with the silicone caps. Leave room for water flow in the pods. Works great. I use Cafe Bustelo
I use the same plastic pod with the silicon, but I've noticed some coffee goes to the "pod trash", even when i properly seal the pod. Do you know what am I doing wrong? It doesnt happens when I seal an original aluminum pod with the silicon, so i am assuming it is something wrong with the plastic reusable pod
I have a one cup coffee maker that uses regular coffee or the pods. It has a reusable screen filter so you do need to open the pods but I still really enjoy it. Fresh coffee every time at a budget friendly price!
You need specific fine level for your grounds, close to original nespresso capsules. I tried around 10 times on my grinder, to get perfect finess. That's the key to make perfect, orginal taste, and smooth thick crema espresso or coffeee like orignal capsules.
Tip: Based on how the vertuo machines function, it'd better if you leave a space (cylinder) in the middle of the capsule. To make better 'crema/foam', the capsule is spun inside the machine, so the empty space makes, what should be, better coffee.
I like this but don't like the Chobani I used to work there everyone who works there is paid $200 or last a week and lives in a motel, with friends or family or on the street. Glad I found a better job and and am going to school. People literally work 12 hours and can't afford anyone a live working here
Just..No. If you need to use a refillable then get ones with the foil covering and that the pod has a silicone seal. They are proven to give a better brew. And the plastic refillables may cause your machine to leak if no silicone gasket because of the patented tech in that machine. Watch some TH-cam channels where they take apart Nespresso machines and show how they work with various aftermarket refillables. You bought a Nespresso so why treat it like a cheap Keurig? I’ve owned various Nespresso machines for over 25 years . And don’t get me started about pouring an expresso over cold creamer.
Why is this so surprising to people because I’ve been using a reusable Keurig K-Kup I know it’s super easy to use it’s made out of stainless steel so it’s never going to wear out.
You’ve got about a week from opening before the coffee starts degrading. Best way to do it is grind ur own coffee beans that gives you 3-4 weeks and you can freeze the coffee beans for an extra 6 months of life
My local Nespresso store is going cashless, so I am going podless! Thanks for sharing. If Nespresso won't take my cash, I won't be taking their pods! Can't fix stupid!
Not a fan at all of the vertuo pods they're a scam. Get regular pods, theres more variety for cheaper. The only difference is the vertuo adds "froth" which fades making an ugly mess on the sides of the cup. Theres a video where a guy explains it, basically if you put your coffee in a blender it has the same result. Pretty weird
Not recomended at all by the brand. You are put the machine at risk and if you need to fix the machine they can prove that you didn't use original allum caps and they don't give you garantie.

The regular Nespresso pods are fully recyclable. But I like that I can select my own coffee ☕

Yes just make sure you buy specifically espresso grounds like the one in this video. It cant be regular coffees grounds.
It's just like espresso machine. But in espresso machine you don't have to clean those pods. Just wipe portafilter with clean water and rug and it's done.
And let's be real: Nespresso tastes like shit because of capacity of the pod
Yeah this machine costs 80€ but a good machine will cost at LEAST 200.

Cafe` bustello ❤️ I call it crack in a cup 🤣🤣 stuff wake you up almost instantly got you cleaning and straight moving😂😂

I bought one for mine and I'm loving it 🥰
I have one of those coffee machines and there literally a living life saver its so easy with it! ❤
Where did you get the pods refills
The lid looks like silicone but thr pod looks like plastic... or are they not?
yes it's plastic but it's reusable, you can't reuse the nespresso ones

These will not work with the new machines that punch multiple holes in the foil?
This must be for an older machine, right?

Don’t these caps need the extra holes around the outside? Wont the machine try to punch those holes in this cap? 🤔
