In most of the episodes of the show, it becomes immediately clear what the owners do wrong and I always think: OMG! Not so here. Sarah is a strong leader and does her best to set the rules. It just shows you sometimes need and outsider, a professional to point out the mistakes and devise a strategy. I admire Srah for all the dedication with which she has devoted her life to her son. No one can fathom the loss of a child at an early age. Life can be so cuel.
She’s amazing. As a full-time carer myself, I know that your home becomes your workplace. Her behaviour at home is more professional than most people’s behaviour in the workplace.
Love this! Well done Graeme, this mum is so strong she never talks about giving up the dog, she just wants her life to have one less complication, so glad this worked out for them all
6:18 "off" wait like 0.1 seconds and then goes "right thats not workin" and then takes him away.. like the bloody dog doesnt know what that means maybe teach the dog off first and then try that and then if it doesnt listen then take it out or just dont eveen sya anythin at all and just take the bloody dog out immediately when it trues to do it the show the dog that if you wanna spend time with this person you cant do that and you could do the same for toys to
Doodles aren’t the best dog breed out there. Many have behavioural and/or physical health issues. In fact, the man who started the whole Doodle breeding fad now says it was a mistake. That being said, I hope George enjoys many years with his friend. :-)
@@colinkochanski5102 I think the trouble a lot of people have with them is that they're a cross breed - you don't know what traits you're going to get from either original breed (and some of the combinations are truly odd, like breeding a poodle with a mountain dog), and since they're quite popular at the moment, a lot of them are from puppy farms and backyard breeders looking to make a quick buck. Whereas if you buy a retriever, spaniel, husky etc, you know what they're bred for and what to expect. In some cases, I don't really get why people don't just get a poodle and get a teddy bear cut since they look the same anyway.
@@rustyhowe3907 My experiences with them in Arkansas are why I vehemently hate them. They are the stupidest and most health-riddled for their size dogs in the county (Pulaski county), trading blows with husky mixes in stupidity.

They are the stupidest and most health-riddled for their size dogs in the county (Pulaski county), trading blows with husky mixes in stupidity. One of our Shepherds came from a literal backyard but he's a fantastic dog so not all of them are bad, this one turns 9 in february, weighs 95 pounds, body condition 5 of 9, and through the magic of Chemistry he gets around like he's 5 despite his age and still doesn't step around gingerly unless it's very cold outside (significantly below freezing or slightly higher with a vengeful wind and especially with freezing rain). It's almost impossible to find a groomer that will work on Doodles here too.
Doodles are a scourge on our community in Arkansas called Little Rock. They are the worst behaved medium sized dogs I can find. Even pitbulls are more well behaved. It's like a curly-haired husky in regards to insolence and they seem popular in weak-willed families that shop based on appearance instead of suitability for a task or tasks like my german shepherds doing HRD, S&R, and older ones being therapy dogs. I selected shepherds because they're good at things in general and they're fluffier than a labrador and therefore they win by default except when duck hunting. I'll take winning at everything else instead.
@@wendyjones1422 You like dogs with excessive genetic issues like gut problems, allergies, defective spines and stuff? Why do you people purposefully make dogs worse with regards to Doodles, French and British bulldogs, PUGS, and other dogs like these?
I feel bad for george, getting licked in the mouth is disgusting, she obviously has good intentions but when you mix an aussie with a poodle you get a very energetic and intelligent dog that isn't meant for family life, the dog is a herding, hunting mix that isnt doing either activity. Its good that they are seeking help though ❤
@@alisong2328 I do and love my life with working German Shepherds. That said when their HRD and S&R harnesses aren't on they do a great job of mimicking pets.
Such a lovely family, George and Doodle are the best of friends❤️ Sarah is an amazing and strong mum!

So glad that Graham managed to train Doodle so that he and George can remain friends. ❤
Wonderful behavioural change for both Sarah and Doodle, with Graeme's strategies.
Animals are amazing companions for special needs children. This dog really seems to be keyed in to George’s moods.
I love Sarah’s hair and poke a dot dress. She looks so cool
Wonderful! Congrats again, Graeme.
Classic doodle learning the ropes quickly, best wishes to the family.
Surprised she doesn’t have at least a rug so George is not on that hard floor.
Sounds like what they wanted was a service dog..
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Also that "little nudge" is what I would call a ✨️correction✨️

What makes them not the Best Breed out there? ( whatever that means) was it not Charles Dickens great granddaughter who originally bred them also.

Thats terrible that his brother died at that age...any age.
Gosh why are lots of nasty, negative, comments on here, it has worked out so just get over yourselves
Yeah because doodle are back yard breed which is cool and they have bad lot of health problems. 🙏🏼
Internet taught the world to hate doodles and that's all that's needed.

People dogs for their looks or coat and don't consider the breeds' characteristics.

This dog responded really well though. Seeing some negative bias here
George you have my sympathy, dogs licking me is one of my most horrifying things to happen! Yuck! I can see this is a great family!
Poor dog
