Gorgeous dog, and very teachable and able to learn, so long as everyone around him is consistent, they all seem willing, so fingers crossed it ends happily
I’ve been taking Grahams advice. I just started watching (binge lol) a couple weeks ago. None of my dogs ever disrespected me like a lot of these dogs when I was younger and less tired lol, but I realized our little rescue terrier was insidiously has been deciding things. Walks? Holy moly, that woman hiding behind cars omg I laughed out loud but that was turning into me. My neighbors are like oh here comes Parker! Forget that noise. He’s got it quite quickly lol. Got a front clip harness, have stopped giving into his oh so cute begging where he’s in charge of feeding time. Thanks so much Graham. US here.
On my 3rd GSP German shorthaired , lovely and clever dogs, but they need a lot of activity all day long or else,,Teddy a long haired understimulated pointer. They should not pick pointers if they cant give them or stand their stamina
@@helenlizzystewart4908 hard to tell if a long haired pointer like this one that young have overweight as they are very active all day trugh inside or outside..ADHD dogs some call them . lol.. The food grabbing comes from low mental stimuli and lack of time to train and engage with it .none of my dogs have ever grabbed food , in the car or in the house and it tok no effort to tell them what to grab or not , I have a farm in Northern Norway with endless space where my GSP`s have and now my one year old one can run wild .and i tell you they can run until they drop ,why used as skiing and pull dogs . also i am alone with them so "we talk" super clever dogs.. my previous gsp`s did know 100`s of words but then they are always with me 24H ,GSP are known for being problematic if enough mental and physical stimuli- often we see this among owners in cities and among families with several kids and not time to mental stimuli the dog. the boys did a good job with the 2 short haired ones ..the long hair one was last man in and proberly got less training ant stimului
@@helenlizzystewart4908 yeah and a walk or 3 daily is not enough for a GSP or a GLP if you like them to be calm inside the house.. all mine have been like a switch.. once inside the house they settle down and being the most cuddly and calm dogs following all household rules. well..that if and after a long day outside in my humongous garden /field here in the outback of Northern Norway,, GSP is my favorite dogs and had them for more than 30 years..and had irish wolfdog from i was 20 to 29 and a Collie( Lassie) ;) i grew up with..
In some ways getting an easy dog is not a blessing. You have to do little to no work to have a well-behaved dog. So when a more challenging dog comes along you're clueless amd overwhelmed. Some people have easy dogs and think "Look at me, I'm such a good dog owner". But other people have to get masters degrees in dog training to have a well-behaved dog. There are levels to this shit.
Agree. Luke Evans of The Farm for Dogs channel manages, a, pack of 21 dogs and they all behave perfectly. Mixed breeds, all rescues, except the pug. Many of them were on the kill list as dangerous dogs before Luke took them on.
My cat was like that, for her entire life. I had to shut her away around food. In the end she did die from eating a non-edible item. Cat training whilst on a weight loss diet is crazy. She survived over 10 years.
Sorry, why when you have to challenged sons, who are happy with the 2 dogs you got, bring in a disruption?? 2 is company 3 is a crowd! Biting more than you can chew. God Bless Graham. 💙💙🤗🤗
I have 3 rescue dogs and they are well behaved. I to think I am 71 years old. It’s not that hard if you have your wits about you and put in the effort. Yhese folks look perfectly willing to do the work needed now that they know what to do. I have cats too.
They didn't get 3 at once. One after another. Did you listen to it? Dogs have quirks of their own, which makes them lovely. They don't come off a production line.
It's really touching me how the woman is so sad at the beginning. Those are very good people, I wish them all a beautyful life 🤍

10:13 love how she loves her dog such a kind woman and caring mother and wife ❤
Always surprising how simple the solutions are to many problems.
Amazing how far a boundary will take a dog.

Teddy looks like he has irish wolf hound in him 😊
He's a German wirehaired pointer, different variety of the same breed
Oh ok thanks he is beautiful 😍
Graham can help people to understand the problem!
Priceless! And excellent results again!

They probably walk him a lot as you can tell he is definitely not over weight just did not see that part, I guess the food grabbing was more important

They got lucky with their first two, I'm sure they thought the third would be the same.
Steals teabags so we leave them around for easy access. Genius.
From the outset YOU have to show them who’s the boss! Not nastily, but strictly! It’s man and his dog, NOT dog and his man!
Got to show them the pecking order.
He is a clever boy though, just needed an outside influence
YOU NEED TO KEEP THE TRAINING UP FOREVER IT DOES WORK DOGS NEEDS BOUNDRIES TOO...... GOOD BOY TEDDY....

Brave dolphin 41
If they gave .minimum 3 hours exercise a day MINIMUM NEEDED THERE WOULD BE 99 PER CENT BETTER BEHAVIOUR, EVEN WITH NO OTHER TRAIN8NG
How do you know they don't? They have 2 other well behaved and calm dogs. All 3 are a healthy size and look well looked after.
What kind of idiot adopts 3 dogs at once your just asking for trouble.........
this! two old people got a german wirehaired pointer and expected it to calm them down?? like what part of hunting dog screams calm?
