Not all are based around "fighting". There are canonically Pokemon strictly meant as pets and some meant for support.
TurtleBurger yes but fghting type Pokemon are duo fighting types (two fighting types in one Pokemon) and when they are created every Pokemon loses a fighting type as a baby but because fighting type Pokemon have two fighting types they are left with 1....
TurtleBurger But not all Pokemon are specifically intended for fighting. Plenty of Pokemon are used for things like medicine (like Chansey) or scientific research (like the Porygon family). It's like if a 5 year old fought a professional boxer; they can both technically fight, but one is way better at it.

Ya, that'd be a tough one to pick from. Maybe Stall Sableye, if you want to include the worse abilities. Then maybe Gourgeist-Large b/c it doesn't really do anything that Gourgeist-Normal or Gougeist-Super can't (Gourgeist-Small can do sth completely different from those three, so probably shouldn't include that). Non-mega Banette? Drifblim may fit (although give it White Herb and pair it up w/ a Curse-Passer, and it becomes a nice, fast, mixed attacking threat; but on an all Ghost team, that's pretty much impossible). Then what about Silvally-Ghost or Oricorio-Sensu, if we want to include the mons that can change their type to Ghost?

I love the pokemon but HATE that they thought making a THIRD Fire/Fighting starter would be good. Even Infernape was a cheap shot.
It's got a better design than Blaziken could ever dream of. Also I don't get the "oh this Pokemon has the same type as these other Pokemon, therefore it sucks" mentality. There are tons of NOrmal/Flying Pokemon, NONE of them do what any of the others do.
Fearow, Dodrio, Pidgeot, Unfezant, Farfetch'd, Toucannon, Staraptor, Swellow, Noctowl,...they all bring something different to the table. The same applies to Blaziken, Infernape, and Emboar. Might as well say Incineoar is a Houndoom clone.
Eprocto-Files Im5 peeved because I want our starters to be unique from each other, including secondary types. We were just annoyed by using the same exact type combination three generations in a row for fire type starters.
Close combat, Leaf blade, Magical leaf, Giga drain, Swords Dance... Yeah, Virizion is such a horrible, disgusting pokemon...

1: blacephalon (make it a physical attacker. It gets flame charge, knock off, shadow claw, and smack down. Maybe have it hold a rockium z)
2: popplio

4: heliolisk
5: vaporeon

Other ideas: helioptile, hypno, tyrantrum, aurorus, jolteon, and nihilego. There's quite a few, but I think the first 6 are the most frill like, rather than a fur mane
But Blacephalon is a special attacker because the ability Beast Boost will boost Blacephalon's Special attack.
So better move set for Blacephalon could be....

Emboar's worst imo. Slow speed, lack of Fighting type moves (Focus Miss or Hammer Arm are some of it's strongest), and a strategy that'd suit it better if it was Fire/Rock type as opposed to Fighting (Reckless Ability with Flare Blitze/Head Smash and Scarf or Band)
Chris Swan Fire/Rock is one of the worst types.

QOTD: Machamp. I really think it's a mediocre Fighting type. It's attack isn't THAT amazing compared to other Fighting types, it's not THAT bulky compared to other Fighting types and its speed is just sad. You mean to tell me a pokemon that toned and fit can't run?

People underestimate crabominable’s power but Doesn’t know the Hurt it can put on So many pokemon

Great battle as usual! In my opinion Scrafty is the worst fighting type, because it resemble more a reptile or a bug instead of a proper brawler.

Actually, Hitmonchan is pretty good in my opinion. Despite the fact of it being in PU (my favourite tier because of a certain normal type legendary) I used a Hitmonchan in a league with my other friends and called it Saitama. This, as I learned, was an appropriate name. I was running Max Attack+Choice Band or whatever it is that boosts attack+Iron Fist+Mach Punch and it would do buckets of damage to all Pokemon against it.

Hitmonchan got neck strike now. Also wouldn‘t a full block specific stuff or whatever (sorry I‘m german) team fun? Like neck strike for sound moves, taunt for status moves, magic coat, Embargo for items and stuff like that, also abilitys like unnerve for berries. Don‘t know if that‘s a good Idea but I guess you could come up with something.

Oh I love Poliwrath! and Virizion is cool too. Throh isn't that great of a design but it is a good pokemon and is interesting that it's based around throwing moves. Sawk is probably the most boring fighting type, since it's about punching and... that's not overused.

Least favorite fighting type, for me, is Mewtwo X. Not from a gameplay standpoint, but more from a story standpoint. Mewtwo's an artificial Pokemon, which means that any item that works uniquely with it must also be artificially made. This means that some scientist took a look at the overpowered cat monster who can do all this crazy stuff with its mind and thought "you know what this Pokemon needs? It needs to punch things."

Try using a team with setup moves, such as Spikes, Sticky Web, and Stealth Rock, coupled with moves that switch the enemy out, such as Dragon Tail and Roar. Could be a pretty annoying set to face lol

Well, from that team, the only viable one is Virizion, since the rest are pretty much outclassed by other Fighting types. Virizon is outclassed aswell both as special or physical, but it does its work in tiers above him, although if he gets outspeed from anything that has something effective, that´s gg.
