I love how real, relaxed, human and intimate this was. I hope these kinds of videos would come out once in a while. I think the suggestion of these being a regular series is great.
*My son and I watched the Dragon crew launch and it was very exciting. congratulations Robert and Douglas and Nasa. But watching this video from this perspective was wonderful. Chris is an excellent person.Very Nice*
I'm really glad to see NASA listening to people saying they want more of the mundane behind the scenes stuff, that the general public want to see more of what's really being done, not just the official smiles.
Considering the world spent hundreds of billions of dollars on the ISS we get very little to no info or even a tour of the ISS at all. This is really great to watch so thankyou. If you want to create the next generation of space naughts this should be shown regularly in schools.
I could watch this for hours and hours in stop. Such an amazing video and kind of a new experience for me!! Really cool. Hope they upload more videos like this.
I love this perspective and seeing how they were reacting, but my favorite part has to be at 9:13. It's so relatable. 😂 I'm glad everything went smoothly.
Go Bob and Doug. “Get some”. Love it Chris. A very nice insight to the launch day through to docking on the ISS. fantastic. You guys are just awesome and everyone back on earth that allows all this to happen. 💪🏻👍👌
As someone who has loved astronomy and all things space related, this event brought tears to my eyes. So glad to be alive to witness the US doing incredible things once again
Commander Cassidy did a lot of prep work on cameras, the dock chute and coordinating with NASA on many different issues, especially cameras. I watched the last 4 hours live from NASA's official TH-cam channel on this historic event. Having watched the moon landing as a 7 year old, I've always loved space exploration and science, so thank you to all the personnel at NASA for continuing to fuel my curiosity. 😃
This is a great video, really cool. Chris seems like somebody who would do well at vlogging, but wow the cosmic ray damage on the camera sensor they used in the middle there... Somebody send them a new camera!
OMG I always wondered if astronauts on ISS see the departure of other launches on earth. This is awesome! Hopefully NASA will show more reactions like these ☺️☺️☺️
Its just so cool to see it from this perspective ! 🤩And I think it's pretty adorable you can see how excited and happy Ivan is, his first time in space and welcome new colleagues ! 🥰🚀
Thank you Very much for all this ... Ist so beautiful ans i learn! Bald fliegt Ihr wieder zurück zu Eurer Familie. Habt eine unvergessliche Zeit! Vielen Dank.
Really great to see launch america from a different perspective. I could watch this type of content for hours and hope to see more behind-the-scenes in the future!
Wow! Incredible Video... Thanks Commander Cassidy! Thanks for sharing and making this video, despite your insane busy schedule aboard the Space Station!
Just over 20 Days to go to unlocking of the Crew Dragon ( Endeavour) here in Australia🇦🇺! I really love this behind the scenes video on the ISS.🇺🇸💻😀👏❤️👍❗️‼️
Good night NASA Jonson, what a joy to catch sight of Space through our US Navi 🇺🇸 now I miss you ... miss you ... there ... then I believe that in 2021 he will be back 😂🙋
Very cool.. it was exciting for us to see the launch but must have been so much more amazing for those in the ISS knowing that two men were flying up in that rocket to meet them the next day!
At 9:30, you can really see the radiation damage done to the camera image sensors - amazing to wonder that there are subatomic particles whizzing through space at relativistic speeds and smashing into things. That sort of damage is more apparent when leaving the safety of Earth Magnetosphere.
Besides all the technological achievements, I just love how the ISS crew is working together. They're both human up there and arbitrary borders and country definitions on this planet are a somewhat more distant thing.
So exciting and this reminds me of the connection of Zaria and, Unity as Bob Cabana met with Sergei Krikalev on the beginning the INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION 😁👍🌎💫🛰🤝👨🚀👨🚀 Godspeed & Good job 👏 👏👏👏😂👍✅
I'm glad they did this - nice to see things from the stations perspective.

Ivan's observing and learning from the best. It's his first flight to the ISS and hopefully more to come!
Always nice to see that these guys are just big nerds.
“Whassup big dogs!!” Sounds like my drunk friends when I get to the party. Amazing day and props to everyone involved!

Chris: Lemme take a million pictures of this beast 😂

Astronauts and cosmonauts working side by side is just heartwarming❤️
So i just call them human. And thats the point to get our well deserved freedom for everyone. No Age for Wars now.

Amazing video idea and creation by Chris Caddisy. It was wonderful to see behind the scenes.
Haha...Cassidy watched the launch the same way I did! Well, except I made my window full screen... :)
One other thing...you need to put in a bonk sound effect when Hurley bonks his head.
And his internet was probably more reliable than.mine
@@gullygully69 Nah. Their internet sucks. In an interview Chris tried to load where they were flying over and it took about 1-3 minutes.
I absolutely loved getting a sneak peak into the real life of the station crew in this vid! Would love to see more of these in the future.
This made me cry at the end when they hugged❤❤❤

Chris Cassidy awarded my uncle Mike the silver Snoopy award that NASA gives to their hard workers. He received his for helping with STS-127.
