    When I was a student at UJ, I would worked 2-3 waiter jobs and that’s how I assisted my mother to pay off my varsity fees. We need these operations on a larger scale, especially on those Uber Eats scooters. Those hijacked building should be housing young professionals starting out in life

    Even if these employees are documented foreign nationals, they should not be working. According to the law, low skill jobs should be reserved for South Africans. HR needs to prove that they tried by to hire a SAn and they couldn't find any suitable for the post (which is very unlikely).

    Home affairs and department of labour has been failing this country for a long time. Farms are full of illegal foreigners as well. This has been a known factor together with these restaurants.
    Also each business that is opening from now on should be given a go ahead to do so by passing inspection from Dept. Of Labour. (Hoping there won’t be bribery) that will affect that.
