- Turns out buying new tyres in Pakistan is not as simple as it is abroad. As someone who was making this purchase for the first time in Pakistan, there were many new things I learnt which are specific to the market here. In this video I share my findings with you.

I recently got general tyre (Thunder max) after using continentals in my GLI. I am very much satusfied with them. Low noise and good grip too. They are now more value for money for me.

My father bought yokohama advanDB 195/65R15 from Toyota Rawal motors in 2018, costed us 53k (4 tyres). Manufacturing date was only 3 months prior to installation date. They had older tyres aswell, 8 months older and they were cheaper, 48k. Just over 1k extra per tyre and we got newer ones.
And yes, yokohama tyres are pretty soft but my father drives very slowly and carefully so we weren't worried about roughness.
Fully satisfied.

Owais bhai your are doing amazing job, your solar videos helped me a lot buying panels for my home, also please share your experience of using continental tyres and buying it from Japan Tyres, I bought continental tyres from them yesterday and I highly doubt they are smuggled, because officially General import continental tyres from thailand and they gave me made in Portugal. Good choice, I use continental on all my vehicles. Road noise is reduced a lot and the car feels smooth with continental
Yeah very informative but I personally Yokohama tyre prefer because it's my experience in Saudi Arabia our company vehicles just only Yokohama Tyre... That's why I send 4 Tyre to Pakistan for my Toyota Vitz... Already two years now I travel northern areas.. Perfect

For Noise test please use any App which will measure noise in DBs.
Salaam, is General tyres r good to purchase for Suzuki cultus car.
If you want an evident noise reduction of road , then you should definitely consider YOKOHAMA GT , ADVAN DB , bc thats what they built for.
A small amount of dB difference b/w new & old, because of new, after some duration it will be given correctly result.

A little bit of noise difference, i mean but obviously old tires didnt have as mush presurre as new ones.
Old tyres were also the cause if low handling and breaking power. When old tyres are replaced by new ones, they greatly improves the handling and breaking efficiency of car. Hope this will help a lot of people. Also exchange your front tyres with back tyres after every 10000 KM as they will get less rubbed by the road hence helping breaking and handling where else if you would not exchange the positions of your car tyres the front tyres will get more rubbed against the road eventually greatly reducing the handling and breaking efficiency of your car
Also there is Direction arrow on tire. sound also as ur audio looking better.

You should check Dunlop too ,,, Dunlop tires are also mix train and their road grip is absolutely amazing and are quite reliable too.

I’ve been using Dunlops on my 2015 manual GLi and once had to avoid a rim (yes an abandoned car rim) in the middle of GT road at a speed of 100kmph during night time. My father was in the passenger seat and the way I swerved to avoid that rim at the last moment, my father lost all hope for our survival. However the tyres handled the manoeuvre beautifully and didn’t leave the road once. I never thought I’d be able to do that in a Corolla lol

My mostly use is within city and sometimes motorway/gt road.
i have goodyear tyres in my civic and i feel like they are very noisy and their response is very hard and their road stability is very less
Yes i also have good year in my grande and they are very noisy. Plus point is this that they don't get punctured easily and are hard tyres.

You bought 2 year old tyres, in Nov2021 you bought Sep2019 tyres lot, And you were tell us about your Foreign Experience. Its pretty clear the shop keeper sold you old stock but confusing l you with the import documents paradox, which obviously you didnt see and match with the tyres mfg. dates.
When you were making the video, the Shop was also selling Smuggle Tyres in the background. I hope you got non.smuggle tyres.

you didn't mention a price, that's wired, pricing is the main part because in Pakistan this seller rips us off easily if you don't know, for example, I am living in the USA, if I want to buy, I will research, but still, if you already had experience, then I will know, whats going on in the markets.

@@AliKhan-sk3gn I’m using Dunlop SP Sport LM in a 2015 GLi and Yokohama Advan DB in a 2013 Altis. Both are 195/65 R15 and I found Dunlop’s grip to be superior.

Public openion is Pakistan made tyres are lesser quality. They are hard and gives you bumpy ride.
Toyota Suzuki and Honda. 3 big players in 90% of their cars will use General Tyres, made in pakistan. However there is exception like Toyota Altis, Grande comes with yokohama tyre. Not every yokohama is soft tyre. So mostly peoples also change it to cc6 , uc6 or any other better tyre in terms of ride quality. Peoples also think general tyres do not provide good grip.
However few %age of peoples stick to what company provides.

Thats a lie.. just buy the tire you want.. but i recomend u to buy that tire in the country you are/going to use the tire. Cuz they are classified for the temrature for your area..
All premium tires is just as good.. all tires can be used on all cars(suv vans have C class.)
Premium tires usualy last longer..
Some car brands give you better garanaties if u buy this or that..if u drive toyota what they recomend.. then reaearch where u can get that tire(usualy the toyota dealer want higher price than a pure tire dealer.)

General Tyre is the best option in Pakistan. Ask any Rent a Car dealer, and they use General Tyre, because of very few maintenance cost. Also, General Tyre manufactures fresh batch of tyres and only sell through their Dealers. Tyre Market people usually don't recommend General Tyre because of lower profit margin of local tyres. They will always recommend Indonesian, Chinese, Thailand tires which have good profit margin for them...
I have very bad experience with Dunlop Tyre, which I bought from Chah Sultan Market, Rawalpindi. 6 months and I got the first cut on tyre, spent 900 to get it repaired...
These tires are way overpriced...just comparing with North American market...a set of 4 tires can set you back Rs. 18500 x 4...wow...

@@Ahsun20 repair puncher internally by using cold patch (use to repair bike tube). Heating method is not good for tire itself. I always use cold patch method for repairing
