I'm not a beatboxer, i'm just a guy who enjoys watching beatbox videos and from my perspective this was one of my favorite performances. I can't see through the eyes of a judge who's also a beatbox champion. I can't see what D-Low sees or doesn't see. I'm really just a spectator and again, from my eyes and ears, this performance was way more enjoyable to watch than a lot of performances i've seen from people who won or came close to winning the GGB. As much as i absolutely have all the respect in the world for guys like D-Low and Colaps, this performance from Improver was actually more enjoyable to watch than some performances from D-Low and Colaps. Both D-Low and Colaps are absolute legends but in my opinion, so is Improver and yes, once again, in my opinion, which is once again, the opinion of a non beatboxer, i see Improver at an equal level as D-Low and Colaps.
I love the beatbox community. There are no politics. Just Beatbox and a respectful attitude towards everyone. Here, in this glorious community, you can feel the socail utopia, that the society wants to reach.
Except for Wunknown :/. He didn't deserve what came to him, it wasn't the communities business and it ended up not benefiting anyone and he came out exiled.

I have to say... Idk about live but on the stream. Improver was LEAGUES above others in terms of sound quality. It was so noticeable, especially that he just came after Alem, Hiss, etc. I remember my reaction being " what in the fck Is that KICK bro!" Lol. Yeah every sound of his was coming through so much more than others. I was surprised by the result for sure. I also was watching the stream so, stream audio vs live is different but yeah, still wanted to share
I think improver was showing that he can do sick routines without relying on his duck noice because before the gbb 2021 I saw lots of comments of people saying that he is overusing his duck noise and needs other techniques to “improve”
I think he is trying to use the duck combo sounds less to make it more epic when he actually uses it and to have more variaton. Also the pattern at 2:56 was insane af, in my opinion it sounds better on his instagram tho
I know he has better sets than this so you gotta respect the decision to go with this set, showed that he felt confident he would go through so decided to save some of his better sets for the battles, Improver is one person I look forward to the future for, he's gonna level up big time I can tell

Good question, it often depends on the origin. Originality is one of the most important aspects. Alem or Napom were the originator of the combo they repeat, this means it will always stay original (despite using before), it becomes subjective if the judge decides that it’s repetitive of an artist (for me i factor both originality and repetition slightly in that moment). But for the improver technique, this is not directly an original combo that we know he created and pioneered
It also seems like something a lot of non-pro beat boxers do so you can hear it around a lot without knowing who started it. When you're famous for an original beat, everyone associates it with you.

Love your work D-Low! I would personally like to hear more about the 'Artist Theme' component of your judging criteria you are discussing in these analysis - as it sounds as though this component heavily favours more well known beatboxers like Alem, Alex etc. regardless of what they produce on the stage. e.g. 'Alem is extremely Alem, and I'm not sure what the style of Improver is just yet' - does this mean that even if someone produces a banging set, because they aren't as well known they will still have a low grade on the Artist Theme as you haven't heard as much of their artistry compared to others? Seems a little unfair as it automatically weights in the favour of more established composers - but I may be interpreting it wrong! I hope you can provide an example of a high artist theme ranking in a later analysis for a lesser known / newer school beatboxer! Thanks for all you do man.
I think same way like u Dlow but u describe it so well and easy to understant.. thanks for your explaination, cause some of non-beatboxer don't know the reason why their fav artist not pass the elimination or lose in battle.. wildcard is just a video n maybe not gonna work on stage.. so hard to speaking music with the body language.. need a lof of energy to maintain the sound and make consistance crowd

I'm not a beatboxer, i'm just a guy who enjoys watching beatbox videos and from my perspective this was one of my favorite performances.
I can't see through the eyes of a judge who's also a beatbox champion. I can't see what D-Low sees or doesn't see.
I'm really just a spectator and again, from my eyes and ears, this performance was way more enjoyable to watch than a lot of performances i've seen from people who won or came close to winning the GGB.
As much as i absolutely have all the respect in the world for guys like D-Low and Colaps, this performance from Improver was actually more enjoyable to watch than some performances from D-Low and Colaps.

Abo Ice is the perfect example then, a newer school beatboxer who was also very new to GBB, ranked higher than even napom in wildcards
