I can't imagine Frosty's POV. The Crowd endlessly chearing up for you for 3 minutes straight, the judges vibing to your music, the crowd dancing in the middle. Outstanding.
I am a huge Rythmind fan, he's my favorite. I didn't know that someone can destroy him in a battle. Frosty was UNBELIEVABLE! He seems a like a really cool guy too. Respect to Rythmind as well for always making us go insane.

Controversial take, but that first rythmind drop is my favourite of all time. Saro still takes the cake for a better complete round, but not the best drop imo.
I wish brez won first round to put a better fight against frosty, because rythmind came underprepared. So it's unfortunate but rythmind would've probably lost to anyone. Huge props to frosty because even if rythmind(in top condition) or brez had battled him, he would've put up a great fight and probably won. But unfortunately rythmind had a significant disadvantage.
Frosty managed to pull off his 2nd round flawlessly. When KBB was on, his kicks in that round weren't in time and it wasn't enjoyable. But this time, the timing made it so impactful and good, it made me scream and jump. Perfect!
The KBB version of the round is better tbh, but that doesn't take away the fact that the live version was amazing. It's just that we couldn't hear the bass because of feedback.
R2 frosty has the best drop off all time in loop station imo, such a perfectly executed, the distortion the buildup the anticipation the reactions the crowd the stage presence its insane

The camera work has always been great at gbb and this year was no exception, the second drop was made so much better by that smooth movement angled up across frosty

Frosty's second round is one of my favorites of all time. 🔥🔥Even Inkie gave it a 99/100 at KBB making it his favorite routine ever. Rythmind was also crazy though. He probably could've won any other battle with those two rounds. Kind of a shame Inkie's reaction to the track isn't here though.
For Frosty to do Fall in KBB was already outstanding, but then he brings it live to GBB, seeing how the crowd and judges react to it, IMO is one of the factors that got Frosty to the finals, I mean hell, WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN FALL COMES OUT!!!! Big ups to both but this to me was like a repeat of Alem vs King Inertia, Alem was a strong opponent, but the second K.I brought out High, Middle, Low, it was gg
Frosty’s 2nd round was one of greatest things I’ve heard in GBB21 , the impact many beatboxers have made on me in this world league is something I’m never going to forget. I love the art of beatboxing , it’s something so beautiful that gives aspiring beatboxers (such as myself) a chance to witness , enjoy and learn from some of the best. I hope to attend someday . Man Frosty did something I ain't never seen before. He made Inkie and Saro go completely batshit in the 2nd round. What a compliment. To have those 2 giants of the loop go crazy cause the beat is so sick. I have never seen Inkie go so crazy. He loved that drop.

But judges are famously 1) biased against multiple devices (Producer category proves it going from a 6-man showcase to 4-man in just a year), 2) against no-drop rounds (NME lost because of it, so did Frosty) and 3) against back to back winners (Frosty did win GBB 2020 Online after all).

Frosty was too strong. Especially the second track was great. But don't forget that Rythmind's second track is also great. He covered "Mozart - Lacrimosa". EDM and classic go very well together

@@theomen13 It's not really cheating because all of his sounds are triggered by beatboxing, and he just presses buttons right after editing the beatboxing. So no, it's not cheating, but Frosty's literally just Inkie in 2019.
@@theomen13 I will tell you friend. They are preparing for this show so they have learned and made something what they will do on the show. Then then came and when it's their turn they just do their stuf. But they can also improvise to make it even better. So this is how it works :D
I'll be honest, that second round by Frosty might just be my favourite track I've heard by a looper 🤷♂️ am yet to hear the final yet, and yes I know Saro is always the best looper from a technical perspective, but in terms of enjoyment, I fucking loved that round 😂👌

Ok, now i have two favorite bits on loop station "Saro - Oras" and "Frosty - Fall". "Inkie - Keep it strange" is really close to these two and ofc there are many other good bits, but those two just stand out from the rest for me, gives me goosebumps. Maybe because they feel complete and with flawless transition from start to finish with very very strong culmination.
frosty's second round was one of the best or the best loopstation round in loopstation history it really gets over billion times more than mb 14 vs saro and also its surely in my top 3 favorite rounds with bizkit first round against robin and inkie's second round vs nme!
@@flintlockwoodhd7932 no he definitely destroyed him. I didn't really like his first round and his 2nd round was underwhelming and probably had lots of mistakes. That being said, rythmind came underprepared with only 4 songs(due to misunderstanding) . That's why he used that tiktok song in the first round. And that being said, because he had to improvise/prepare 2 more songs, he had lesser time to prepare/practice for his 4 main songs. So I would say that rythmind came with a massive disadvantage. Which excuses his poor performance here. Anyways, I still think that even if he did came more prepared, frosty will still put up a good fight and probably still won. (and I prefer it this way so his win actually would feel satisfying)
If Frosty's second round was performed in final then he would have won so easily. So dope performance by him, already listened more then 20 time in two days.🔥🔥
I think it would have made the final even closer, but Bizkit's rounds were so on point, that I think he'd have to come with both these rounds to beat bizkit, but then he may not have won this battle with rythminds cover of Mozart in his second round. Every round bizkit presented in every battle was damn near final worthy, not the same for frosty. Even Bizkits mistakes that he admitted to in his livestream were so well recovered from that no one knew.
I know "Fall" sounded with a better quality in the KBB21, but here, it's just different, it's just something else, it's just better. Never thought somebody could make the best round in an entire GBB with a repeated round. Big ups to Frosty and Rythmind for making one of the best battles in GBB history!

Yeah at the time that's how the track was viewed. For the KBB format it wasn't perfect because the hype is a little bit lost on repeat viewings even though its still an amazing track. But we all knew that as soon as GBB came around it was going to be a 10/10.
I so glad frosty chose to do kbb lol. I remember chatting with him a right after it was announced, and he wasn't sure if he should do it, or just prepare for gbb. (This was before the mk2 was announced) I doubt that I was the reason he did kbb, but I did suggest to him that it would be a good idea to do the kbb to test out how the community would react to some of his gbb rounds. Ofc we all know that the mk2 happened, and frosty made fall, now here we are. So, although frosty likely wouldn't even remember talking to me (he definitely wouldn't know by this accounts name), I'd like to think that I, in some small way, I contributed to fall becoming a thing. 😆 Am I dreaming? Probably. Do I care? No.
this is probably the best battle i've ever seen. both sides are just amazing and legit made me vibe. never danced so hard in my life before. kudos to rythmind and frosty for providing us such a good battle
My thoughts on this battle: absolutely insane battle, frosty definitely deserved the win even though in my opinion his first round didn't deliver and hit that hard, it had alot of unfolded potential. on the other hand rythmind with an incredible battle move and also one of his most popular tiktoks lol, so I thought that was a great move, however for the second drop he had a really long buildup and went for about 15 seconds after the timer and the drop didn't differ much from the first one, and that left a sour taste in my mouth, then frosty came with a craaaaazzzyyyy routine that already had a ton of hype when he did it at kbb and everyone back then was like imagine how hard would this hit live, and man he executed that one perfectly, then rythmind came in with what I like to call a "so-not-rythmind" round, it felt like he has lost his confidence while executing it and pretty much accepted defeat, which is really not who rythmind is, and brez explained it in his reaction to rythmind's elim and said that rythmind was under prepared and thought it was a top 4, which really showed in this battle 😅. anyhow that battle was so insane and I feel absolutely blessed that I was able to see that one live 🔥🔥
I liked that Rythmind's 2nd round was influenced by Mozart's Lacrimosa. Also, big ups to Frosty. His Fall routine gotta be my favorite loopstation routine. He totally deserved that win.
@@mako_happy I'm not sure his 2019 songs were samples and covers as well, aside from still from Dr dre. But ya, he has alot of samples/covers this year. Seems like he is purposefully trying to use covers this time round. I would say that covers/samples is actually harder to pull off, because people do definitely take into account that it's a sample, so it's actually more challenging for rythmind to win. He will need to have good remixes and instrumentals to win.

Ok, now i have two favorite bits on loop station "Saro - Oras" and "Frosty - Fall". "Inkie - Keep it strange" is really close to these two and ofc there are many other good bits, but those two just stand out from the rest for me, gives me goosebumps. Maybe because they feel complete and with flawless transition from start to finish with very very strong culmination.

That being said, rythmind came underprepared with only 4 songs(due to misunderstanding) . That's why he used that tiktok song in the first round.
And that being said, because he had to improvise/prepare 2 more songs, he had lesser time to prepare/practice for his 4 main songs.
So I would say that rythmind came with a massive disadvantage. Which excuses his poor performance here.
Anyways, I still think that even if he did came more prepared, frosty will still put up a good fight and probably still won. (and I prefer it this way so his win actually would feel satisfying)
If Frosty's second round was performed in final then he would have won so easily. So dope performance by him, already listened more then 20 time in two days.🔥🔥
I think it would have made the final even closer, but Bizkit's rounds were so on point, that I think he'd have to come with both these rounds to beat bizkit, but then he may not have won this battle with rythminds cover of Mozart in his second round. Every round bizkit presented in every battle was damn near final worthy, not the same for frosty. Even Bizkits mistakes that he admitted to in his livestream were so well recovered from that no one knew.
I know "Fall" sounded with a better quality in the KBB21, but here, it's just different, it's just something else, it's just better. Never thought somebody could make the best round in an entire GBB with a repeated round. Big ups to Frosty and Rythmind for making one of the best battles in GBB history!

@@ameerhazim9495 The audience and judge's reaction makes a better ambient, but I think the way Frosty structured the round into GBB format, combined with the sounds, makes this round one of the best ones yet.
Yeah at the time that's how the track was viewed. For the KBB format it wasn't perfect because the hype is a little bit lost on repeat viewings even though its still an amazing track. But we all knew that as soon as GBB came around it was going to be a 10/10.
I so glad frosty chose to do kbb lol. I remember chatting with him a right after it was announced, and he wasn't sure if he should do it, or just prepare for gbb. (This was before the mk2 was announced)
I doubt that I was the reason he did kbb, but I did suggest to him that it would be a good idea to do the kbb to test out how the community would react to some of his gbb rounds.
Ofc we all know that the mk2 happened, and frosty made fall, now here we are.
So, although frosty likely wouldn't even remember talking to me (he definitely wouldn't know by this accounts name), I'd like to think that I, in some small way, I contributed to fall becoming a thing. 😆

this is probably the best battle i've ever seen. both sides are just amazing and legit made me vibe. never danced so hard in my life before. kudos to rythmind and frosty for providing us such a good battle
My thoughts on this battle: absolutely insane battle, frosty definitely deserved the win even though in my opinion his first round didn't deliver and hit that hard, it had alot of unfolded potential. on the other hand rythmind with an incredible battle move and also one of his most popular tiktoks lol, so I thought that was a great move, however for the second drop he had a really long buildup and went for about 15 seconds after the timer and the drop didn't differ much from the first one, and that left a sour taste in my mouth, then frosty came with a craaaaazzzyyyy routine that already had a ton of hype when he did it at kbb and everyone back then was like imagine how hard would this hit live, and man he executed that one perfectly, then rythmind came in with what I like to call a "so-not-rythmind" round, it felt like he has lost his confidence while executing it and pretty much accepted defeat, which is really not who rythmind is, and brez explained it in his reaction to rythmind's elim and said that rythmind was under prepared and thought it was a top 4, which really showed in this battle 😅. anyhow that battle was so insane and I feel absolutely blessed that I was able to see that one live 🔥🔥

I would say that covers/samples is actually harder to pull off, because people do definitely take into account that it's a sample, so it's actually more challenging for rythmind to win. He will need to have good remixes and instrumentals to win.
