Out of curiosity, what are you asking is wrong? The technique? Number of passes? Seems fine to me. If you’re really worried run a test on your own, cut and etch test. 🤷♂️

No? Not on mig-mag, especially if you are pushing. Stacking stringers isn't as strong as a good weave. Stringers are bad if you need to fill big gaps too, you usually put more heat into the metal than when you weave.
Everyone is a critic no matter what or how well you do something…never fails. I have yet to see a video on welding where someone doesn’t critique the work being done. It’s how the internet works all the keyboard warriors are sitting back just waiting for there Opportunity to strike give there 2 cents judgement. It makes them feel better about themselves after all gets the quick hit of dopamine. NOW I GET MINE!!!! Yes was it as good for as it was for me. Thank you….I got to go for a quick smoke now😉

You can go up to like 14-20mm's if you can handle it, just passed my test on overhead open root
He's not welding, welding is melting metal to metal, he's melting metal on metal with is soldering.
