My son and I follow Adam at leat twice every year with our C'Mon Aussie shirts. Last year we drove 18 hours nonstop from NJ to Bayhill to follow him. Adam and his entire team are the nicest people I've ever met. His coach Brad walked with us the entire weekend. Late we sent his caddie Greg a message letting them know we were coming again for another 10 hours to the Wyndham Championship and Greg gave us tickets. Before the round started they came over and gave us his Uniqlo hats, signed glove and balls and then after the round he brought my son through the ropes for pics and more autographed items and then reached in his bag and gave him his Oakley sunglasses and yardage book. 100%, he came in for a chat and photo during my son’s lesson at Sandringham (Melbourne) at the end of the season, would have been the last thing I’d want to do coming home after week in week out on tour, absolute superstar.
It is the apron that the Miura club makers wear at work. It is a part of every set. I am fortunate to have a set of AS-1's with Graphite Design Tour AD 85R shafts. So far, I've played 2 rounds and had a couple practice sessions. They feel great and look beautiful. Thanks for this video. For some reason, no one else is really putting anything out there about the AS-1's. Please do a follow up video playing these on the course. Also, Miura commissioned Vessel to make 2 commemorative stand bags with the same blue as the box and Mr. Miura's red seal of approval mark. They are stunning.
I’ve got the Nicklaus-Miuras in my bag for a couple of seassons, and really like them. Resshafted them with KBS C-Tapers. Works nice. They didn’t have the custom option, I wanted so I got them with NSPro Modus3 120 TX shafts. They worked nice too, but the ball went too high to my eye, so I ordered the C-Tapers miway the season to be reshafted in the fall. The C-Tapers are 125g/S+ and work for me like a charm. Used to have 130/X in my last Muzuno set and wanted the same feel, but getting older I adjusted the flex to my physical at the time. Now in better shape, could very well play the 130/X also but the slightly lighter is feeling better and I woun’t give up any distance with it.
I found a set of Miuras at a thrift store and immediately snagged them. Just went out and played with time today. First time back to golf in about a year. But I’m back in it now. I enjoyed hitting them but definitely need to rewatch the iron videos and hit the range a bit more with them. Thanks for the videos Rick
I've got a set of Miura MB101s and I absolutely love them! They're not distance irons, but you know exactly what you're going to get with them, and when you hit them right out of the middle it's like stroking silk! So nice!
I got a set of Miura irons in November, KM700's. I'm a fan! Forgiving, as advertised, without compromising control or distance. As a matter of fact, just today I broke my personal best 7-iron max distance, my previous best being set with Ping G425. I'll be holding onto these irons for a LONG time.
When they released the Jack Nicklaus edition I thought they were my all time favourite-looking iron. But I take that back.. I much prefer this Adam Scott edition. I like the offset. Very very very nice.
I just bought my 1st set of forged irons, and I can’t ever see myself buying anything except forged irons forever. I bought Mizuno’s which are forged in Japan as well. Forged just feels good.
Gorgeous irons. I'm looking to get a blended set of Miuras..... probably MB-101 (maybe the MC-502) from 7 iron - PW and the TC-201 or the CB- 302 from 3 iron - 7 iron (I'll probably get either of these from 3 iron - 8 iron just as a little overlap for a safety net). I strike my irons pretty good and pretty consistently, but I'm a little concerned about the more traditional lofts. I'm about to be 51 years old, and my typical 7 iron only goes between 145 - 155 yards these days. It's a big investment, and don't want to waste too much extra money, but I know these irons will have an exceptional feel. Edit: I would love to see an on course review or a "break 75" type episode with these irons, by rhe way.
I used to collect Rare Scotty Cameron headcovers. Of all the ones I had I only wish I had 3 back. A dancing surfboards with Adam's signature on side, a lime green dancing yin yangs made for Adam, and a blue dancing smiley faces made for Rich Beem.
Fitted for a set of Miura CB301s w/ KBS Tour shafts and played them the last 3 years. Amazing feel when striking the center. Lesson with Golf Pro he said to me why make golf harder than it has to be, already hard enough. He quit using blades and plays the T350s. I just got fitted for a set JPX 923 HM so I can retire the Miura's to my office. They are as nice to look at as they are to hit.
The smaller the club head the easier to find the middle. Been playing blades for 40 years and currently game Maura’s Left handed blades . Traditional old school lofts helps with maintaining spin !
Rick those are awesome, my Miura’s feel is soft, the strike sounds powerful thud and look great behind the ball like a blade but they are a small CB giving forgiveness, great distance with accuracy, workability and tight disbursement. I like that they have standard lofts, 7 iron 34 degrees, the club lofts give perfect distance gapping. Thanks for sharing your experience. Miura Fan
Great review Rick and love the "kid in a candy store" emotions! My son has the Miura wedges and they are special, but he is good enough to use them properly. Can't wait to see the break 75 with them🙂

Have these in my locker right now. Built to my specs and they are surprisingly easy to hit. I love the Japanese forger’s apron that came with it. They are super nice - great you could share your views on these with all of us that have them!
I bought a used Miura Wedge recently. It's well played and beat up, but I love it. I felt like I needed one in my bag for luck. This set is just stunning. I remember watching the making of video when Adam Scott was in Japan and thought it would be wonderful to try a set out, even though My 14 handicap is not worthy of such beauty.

My guess is he's trying the Pings and Srixons to refine his design. Only thing being Miura tend to be one piece forging, Blueprint S and T100's have some tech in the cavities that Miura don't specialise in. . Adam said he felt he was hitting it better than some of the other guys on tour but not getting better results. For one he was using a much older XPro golf ball.
I’ve gamed Miuras for 8/9 months now and it made me enjoy golf so much more. TC-201 and MB-101 combo set. You should look at getting a specialised Miura fitting for your gamers Rick you won’t regret it!
The Miura Irons look great. The price on those irons are off the roof. Currently, I'm using a TaylorMade P770 from 2021. I still like mine. It's just a little spinny for my taste. I had to used less spin ball like the Titleist Tour Soft ball.
I love me some Miura blades. I have 2 sets of Baby Blades, the original and the 2020 forgings. I had some tournament blades for a while too, sold those to a friend. All my wedges are Miura Tour, and I have a KM 350 putter.

I have had 2 sets of Miura clubs both of which I have reviews on my channel. They’re expensive, yes. But they’re worth it if you can’t put a price on that sweet sweet buttery feel of the center when you just smooth a perfect golf shot and boom it goes exactly where you want it. 🤤
I have a set of the TW Nikes by Miura as described at the beginning of this film, and they are equally gorgeous. My game has never been worthy of them, but when I do strike one perfectly, they make me feel as though I'm as good as Tiger on his best days.
Rick, those have to be really heavy irons? Heavy heads with heavy shafts… Try dropping in a Nippon 120 or better yet the 130. High counter weighted shaft. Great feel too! Love the Apron!!
"限定コラボ商品" Limited Collaboration item "天下無双(Tenka musou)" Eclipse first, the rest nowhere "鉄美(Tetsubi)" Beauty of an iron work The apron is a Japanese apron for heavy duty. Its called "Maekake". Miura is based in the town of katana blade smith who started forging irons intead of katanas 100 years ago. No wonder its expensive...
Have to be one of the best looking irons ever. One day I’d love to get some Miura irons. Always wanted a set but always felt I couldn’t justify the price. One day!!!
Gorgeous, but man, those look tiny. I still play blades, but they look like cavity backs compared to these!! 😂 Would love to see a break 75 with these! As always love the content Rick! Cheers 👏
Miura irons should come with a warning... finding the middle can be addictive... IMO the Miura MC-502's are the best irons in the market - if you're after a compact iron that's got an element of forgiveness that feels fantastic.
I would like to see you review clubs like with regard to workability. No one reviews players clubs the way we would evaluate them. Call fades, draws, high, low, etc and explain how easy or hard the club is to create the shot.
Would be so epic if the grips came on and off like a Samuri sword. Just gives me that vibe looking at them. You also have to look at he may not be using them due to as a pro he wants the ability to have his clubs changed a little on site and with those he wouldn't get that. If something happened to happen to a club replacing it would take being shipped from Japan. So the only get around of that would be to carry a second set.
Maybe he’s using Ping/Titleist as he’s more likely to get fittings if needed on the tour? These are specialist so doubt they’d be on every pga course with a van and all the equipment!
Just a friendly reminder, we need the break 75 with the wazaki hybrid irons as well. We reached the ‘like’ goal!
If I could like this 10x I would
More like break 80
Rick isn't breaking 75 with his own clubs let alone anything else. He's a solid 12 handicap

Try dropping in a Nippon 120 or better yet the 130. High counter weighted shaft. Great feel too!
Love the Apron!!
"限定コラボ商品" Limited Collaboration item
"天下無双(Tenka musou)" Eclipse first, the rest nowhere
"鉄美(Tetsubi)" Beauty of an iron work
The apron is a Japanese apron for heavy duty. Its called "Maekake".
Miura is based in the town of katana blade smith who started forging irons intead of katanas 100 years ago.
No wonder its expensive...
Someone please explain how you would pick Dynamic Gold for these clubs 🤦♂️
Can’t wait to see you hit it on course
Great review Rick! Best channel on YT
Have to be one of the best looking irons ever. One day I’d love to get some Miura irons. Always wanted a set but always felt I couldn’t justify the price. One day!!!
Class gift from a class human. Forget the break 75....need to see a 70 with this set.
Stunning clubs, Adam is such an incredible person
Gorgeous, but man, those look tiny. I still play blades, but they look like cavity backs compared to these!! 😂 Would love to see a break 75 with these! As always love the content Rick! Cheers 👏
Miura irons should come with a warning... finding the middle can be addictive...
IMO the Miura MC-502's are the best irons in the market - if you're after a compact iron that's got an element of forgiveness that feels fantastic.
Those are gorgeous. That’s really cool. Would love to see you play a round with them
Really beautiful. For us in the UK vega golf make the closest I have hit 👌
Wow so awesome. Use them for the next match with Adam. What a Legend
I would like to see you review clubs like with regard to workability. No one reviews players clubs the way we would evaluate them. Call fades, draws, high, low, etc and explain how easy or hard the club is to create the shot.
Please review the Miura cb-302 irons. They are amazing!!
I'm about to buy some used Miura irons in the next few seconds. Not quite what Adam Scot has, but as a Japanese forged iron fan-- why not?
They’re a work of art!
Absolutely gorgeous set!
Great video Rick! Gotta get out on the course with those beauties, even if it’s a par 3 course - defo want to see it!
Love how you say that card from Adam is probably one of the best things ever and then you just toss it aside 😂😂,golden Rick.
Maybe he’s using Ping/Titleist as he’s more likely to get fittings if needed on the tour? These are specialist so doubt they’d be on every pga course with a van and all the equipment!
Good shout actually!
Try Miura KM-500s. You will love them.
Damn, never knew I wanted a Miura apron so bad. That thing is CLEAN.
