Another problem with T3’s is they have an annoying wrist arch that never fully goes away. They’re comfortable and fun to use but I don’t like the effect they have on punch technique. Agreed about RS11V’s though, particularly bc of its ergonomics. They actually weren’t always so durable but the model got updated to basically be the perfect all rounder(at the slight expense of pliability. They used to be a little softer).
Tried the Hayabusa T1 or T2 years ago, before I could afford them, and they felt amazing. Ordered the T4 and they felt very uncomfortable with wraps. Something about them changed for the worse. Can't find Rivals to try on anywhere. So may have to gamble the $180.
The Rival RS11vs are great gloves. I have Bryant’s, Adidas, Fly, Boxeo TM, Everlast, and Reyes and these Rivals are my go to glove just for convenience and wrist support.
As i said before in mexico i can buy both of them for 170$ each. I train mostly mitts,bag and light practice with partner. Which cleto would you use(forget the price). How is the thumb position with the high precision? Does the double strab sucks or is it just fine to take them on and off? I want definetly a CR. For bags i have also the rival RB11
been training boxing for the past 12 years around 5 days a week... sometime 2 training in a day, in the first 5 years i bough 6 pairs of glove a few under 100 buck .. after 2 that costed me 130... than i bought a pair of rival they lasted me 6 years i just bought another pair a few months ago... but yeah if your only a casual a rival gloves can last 10 years easy if you are training a lot 5 years maybe for pros 4 years... but those glove are awsome... my favorite brand.
So if you had to buy just 1 glove, would it be Rival RB10 medium (12oz) or Hayabusa T3 12 oz?? And Its for all around bag mitts and sparring, I only have the budget to buy 1 pair. I am 176 cm and 72 kg, been boxing for 2 years almost. so if you have size advice please feel free to explain. Love the videos I wish we could get all the best brands in Turkey as well. There are three in the video I talked about under $200. Combat Corner probably has more of what you're talking about with a broken in feel. But the T3 and the RS11V are also under $200, but those gloves feel new and tightly stitched all the way through.
Im looking to buy the Rivals for Padwork/Bagwork as my wrist tend to get injured pretty easily, are they mainly for sparring or do you recommend them for all around as well, thanks man greatly appreciate it
Which version specifically? I recommend rival like crazy I have they’re rfx gurrero sparing gloves and rb11 bag gloves they’re very protections and safe while being the exact 0z they’re supposed to be
@@MadePureForImprovment the rb11's, i got hmit boxing gloves since i do mauy thai so its more tailored to clinching and catching kicks etc, only problem is it literally has 0 wrist protection so i figured id look to get rb11s or hayabusa for pad work
