been training boxing for the past 12 years around 5 days a week... sometime 2 training in a day, in the first 5 years i bough 6 pairs of glove a few under 100 buck .. after 2 that costed me 130... than i bought a pair of rival they lasted me 6 years i just bought another pair a few months ago... but yeah if your only a casual a rival gloves can last 10 years easy if you are training a lot 5 years maybe for pros 4 years... but those glove are awsome... my favorite brand.
Another problem with T3’s is they have an annoying wrist arch that never fully goes away. They’re comfortable and fun to use but I don’t like the effect they have on punch technique. Agreed about RS11V’s though, particularly bc of its ergonomics. They actually weren’t always so durable but the model got updated to basically be the perfect all rounder(at the slight expense of pliability. They used to be a little softer).
The Rival RS11vs are great gloves. I have Bryant’s, Adidas, Fly, Boxeo TM, Everlast, and Reyes and these Rivals are my go to glove just for convenience and wrist support.
Last year I got Rival rs11v 18 oz sparring gloves by mistake. And I did not return it. As I live in Iraq and returning things to USA cost more than the gloves. Best mistake ever, I practically only use these for everything, I have two other pairs and never used them again since I got these Rivals. I am 183cm 88kg, I know these are kinda big but my hand and wrist feel so good in these that I will probably order another if these ever get destroyed which is not anytime soon hopefully.

As i said before in mexico i can buy both of them for 170$ each. I train mostly mitts, bag and light practice with partner. Which cleto would you use(forget the price). How is the thumb position with the high precision? Does the double strab sucks or is it just fine to take them on and off? I want definetly a CR. For bags i have also the rival RB11
I ordered the T3s and the S4s and have the same issue with both they grip bar squeezes my pinky and ring finger into each other and my gym partners all tried them on and felt it the grip bar is either too high or uneven wrist support is good but after a hour or 2 using either you can barely open you’re hand super uncomfortable in my opinion best thing going for them is the suede sweat absorbing material for sparring when you sweat and the wrist support but the build quality isn’t good but that’s the ones I got I was using some at my gym for a while didn’t have any issues with the S4s until I ordered my own and I’ve tried them with and without wraps also maybe I just got bad pairs
Tried the Hayabusa T1 or T2 years ago, before I could afford them, and they felt amazing. Ordered the T4 and they felt very uncomfortable with wraps. Something about them changed for the worse. Can't find Rivals to try on anywhere. So may have to gamble the $180.
There are three in the video I talked about under $200. Combat Corner probably has more of what you're talking about with a broken in feel. But the T3 and the RS11V are also under $200, but those gloves feel new and tightly stitched all the way through.
Another great video. Thank you. I fly next week to mexico city, last time i buy there the CR extra padding-nice glove but holy cow the 16oz weigh in 20oz. No i go again and can get there the CR high precision for 170$. How would be the ranking with this price? Maybe NR 2 in your list behind Rival?
Just subscribed! If you had $100 (plus or minus) to spend right now, which boxing gloves would go for off the bat? Which glove would be worth the protection and the comfort especially for a beginner ?
So if you had to buy just 1 glove, would it be Rival RB10 medium (12oz) or Hayabusa T3 12 oz?? And Its for all around bag mitts and sparring, I only have the budget to buy 1 pair. I am 176 cm and 72 kg, been boxing for 2 years almost. so if you have size advice please feel free to explain. Love the videos I wish we could get all the best brands in Turkey as well. Love and respect from Istanbul 🇹🇷
Im looking to buy the Rivals for Padwork/Bagwork as my wrist tend to get injured pretty easily, are they mainly for sparring or do you recommend them for all around as well, thanks man greatly appreciate it
Which version specifically? I recommend rival like crazy I have they’re rfx gurrero sparing gloves and rb11 bag gloves they’re very protections and safe while being the exact 0z they’re supposed to be
@@micahsdiary the rb11's, i got hmit boxing gloves since i do mauy thai so its more tailored to clinching and catching kicks etc, only problem is it literally has 0 wrist protection so i figured id look to get rb11s or hayabusa for pad work
I have Hayabusa T3 Kanpeki that I have used for years. Not a ton, just in my home gym for cardio here and there. For some reason my left middle knuckle has started hurting while using them. Hard to think with the little use I have on them that the padding has worn that much. I don't know what has changed.
I wanna ask why the rivals better than the reyes , and which is better the reyes traditional training gloves or the double velcro ones , lastly i saw that you sell gloves but i cant see your website so i hope for an answer

Yes, at $170, I would definitely buy a pair.

Dont know if that is still relevant bud i would recommend you use 14 or 16 oz, 14 is a great allrounder weight and is way better for sparring.
