Hello Alicja. I'm very pleased(happy/glad) that I'm helping you. I'm very busy now because the new school term has started, but I'll try my best to make a new video every week. I hope you learn more :) Below is the corrected version of your message: Hi, your channel is helping me to improve my English because you are connecting English words with Polish words, and I can understand more. Could you please record more videos? I will be very happy, thanks. Best regards
You made a little mistake or You've made (I don't know :p) We say "Nie ma słonia w pokoju" not "Nie jest słoń w pokoju" But good job you are doing well! :) this channel is awesome :)
Thanks! There are probably loads of mistakes throughout all my videos. They were all really rushed. I wasn't expecting so many viewers when I made them.
If you look in the information box under/below the video and press the 'SHOW MORE' button, you will see the whole VOCABULARY list. You can print the list and learn it.'
I'm happy you are deteremined to learn English. Please, never apologise to me for making mistakes. I'm an English teacher and it's my job to help people who make mistakes :)
Your lessons are so great! :) Thank you a lot! The only thing I can't accept is the "pronunciation". I'm sure it can't help at all. Sorry but /wedżytybylz/ ??? - if someone tries to read it won't sound OK.
Thanks :) Regarding the pronunciation though, it might help some. I use my own transcriptions to help me with Polish, e.g. pshedshewmvzenche = przedsięwzięcie - that took me less than a week to learn :D
Polish is extremly difficult so great respect for everyone who tries to learn it! My American friend (married to my close friend Iwona) has been trying for a few years and it's still not very succesful! You're a very nice person and a good teacher :)
omg I can't believe you talked about the elephant in the room but you didn't thalk about the "elephant in the room", the idiom. Such a wasted opportunity! ;)
I think you're not seeing the elephant in the room: I defined the idiom in case an audience reads your comment and doesn't understand what we're on about. I think too much like a teacher sometimes :)
Sure, -ise is British English. -ize is American English. Both forms are correct in writing, but if you use one form, you should stay using the same form throughout the whole piece of writing. UK - organise, recognise etc. US - organize, recognize etc. Since(skoro) I'm British I use my version.

An elephant in the room is an obvious problem or situation that people do not see or want to talk about... it's ironic that I left it out :P
lol I KNOW. How could I have mentioned something I didn't know? You kinda blew it by trying to expain to me my own joke.
I think you're not seeing the elephant in the room: I defined the idiom in case an audience reads your comment and doesn't understand what we're on about. I think too much like a teacher sometimes :)
Nie wiedziałam, że "th" w that, czy this czyta się jak "w". Myślałam, że jak "d". Eureka! :)
'th' is NEVER 'd'
'th' can be 'w' or 'f' and sometimes 't' depending on the word
'that' = w
'thought' = f
Thailand = t
keep learning :)
aise polon ale on ma rację. zazwyczaj wymawiaja ten dzwiek przez D a on przez W. dziwnie to brzmi ale może tam gdzie mieszkał tak się wymawia
Can I ask you about one thing you used apologise. Is you shoud use apologize
Sure,
-ise is British English. -ize is American English. Both forms are correct in writing, but if you use one form, you should stay using the same form throughout the whole piece of writing.
UK - organise, recognise etc.
US - organize, recognize etc.
Since(skoro) I'm British I use my version.
