Very good there, I can't wait to get flying I've only been trying ground handling by watching people on TH-cam but it's nearly always bad weather or I'm working i got less than 5 hours in so far but I've driven about 10 hours total and most times its been too windy by the time i got to the field and so I wait a few hours incase it dies down but never dose and I just end up going home. The last time I played with the wing a week ago it all seems to come to me and I could keep it up.

Can I ask you some questions if you don't mind ? It might help me make up my mind weather to do it or not ! Which training school did you use, and how qualified are there instructors ? Where are they based ? what did the course cost and how long is the course ? do you get any sort of qualification at the end of it ? Hi thanks for watching! I trained with a BHPA registered school in the North West. From my own experience the training syllabus is fantastic and very well structured, and I'd recommend you train with a BHPA registered school as close to where you live as possible, there are a few dotted around the country. Personally speaking my instructor was amazing, a good teacher, highly experienced and overall top bloke. Course costs will vary depending on the school and how you go about it (some courses are available abroad if you choose to) but at present somewhere between £1k & £2K, in the middle would be normal. With a BHPA school you will get a certificate at the end of it. I'd recommend it to anybody...since it really is a fantastic sport to get into, especially for budding aviators. If you're just looking for a new sport but afraid of heights, it might not be for you. The training is very physical, lots of running, lots of ground handling, expect some bruises but equally lots of fun. It doesn't take too long to train, weather depending of course. Typically around 10 days across 1 or 2 months absolute max in the UK, just 2 weeks if you're very lucky. I guarantee it's like nothing you have done previously, its unique but fantastic. Perhaps you could book a one off tandem flight first and see how you get on with heights first? I have now passed all my training so plenty more videos to follow, thanks again for watching and all the best :)

I'm hoping that I'll get used to the height thing after a while ! I'm a diver ( although I haven't diver for a while now ) and at the beginning the depth used to un-nerve me a bit but after a while I got used to it and it got better ! I stuck at it and became a divemaster and taught diving to others . Could you give me the name of the school you used ! as I'm from Newcastle but was going to go to "Sky school " to learn and there in Oxford as far as I know. Infact, i performed my ground engine break-in procedure this week, so fingers crossed for some great flying conditions very soon 🤘
I tried 2 days of wing walking and achieved no progress and gave up. I could never feel the wing. Thought it would be easier. Figured I was too uncoordinated and would likely kill myself.
It's definitely not as easy as it looks. I think everyone goes through a stage where it seems impossible to get it right. But...you should keep it up! Give yourself more time and you will eventually get there dude🤘🏻
@@adamthorpe1 Agreed. I was about to give up and my instructor said... "put a motor on, see how goes". I only agreed, to prove to him I'd just get hurt and break something. A few moments later.. WFO full send and kept climbing until I was literally lost in the clouds. Learning ppg is more about mentality than ability. Just like a lot of other things. I got lucky he had faith in me, as I sure didnt. Its been a few years now and its freaking amazing! Blue Skies from USA!
