      No! Even if this claim was true and such moment would take place in unforeseeable future, it still would be way too far from us even to think about it.
      And I find it funny that you, Dr Tyson, only take questions from patreon. Basically, "show me the money" comes before curiousity and science. I would be happy to pay for each question separately, if I trusted you (or any science populizer foe that matter) would genuinely address them. But I know what would happen instead. I would ask a question about the problems with, let's say, Vacuum, and I would explain what exactly are the problems with facts, and you would simply reject aļl of that as delusion or misinformation and with simple declarations about how science looks at Vacuum today would finish the answer. So, I would have spent my money and have nothing. In a way, I would feel that the money was stolen from me as I already know the official answers of science. So, if there is no open discussion with challanges, and I have to pay to hear what I can read for free in any science book, then what is the point of all of this...

    • @jurisbogdanovs1
      @jurisbogdanovs1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would like you, Neil, to think about possibility that one day all those arguments and facts I keep bringing up might become the accepted theories. And science educators and scientists would be asked, why they didn't see and address those problems and solutions that were in front of our eyes? And then many scientists would realise that they have been bombarded with these questions for years but they ignored them because the person who asked them didn't pay for the answer... And, unfortunately, I even sent you some of my books, Neil!!! Yet, you remain ignorant to that. And problems with Redshift are explained in that book of mine too - WHERE DOES THE UNIVERSE AND LIFE COME FROM.

      @@ravishankarthakur7189 Yeah, those are traditional movie review channels though; and that’s definitely NOT what I mean.
      I haven’t seen a dedicated channel to reviewing the accuracy of science in film. Wired (and some others) does bring in experts (lawyers, forensic experts, doctors, historians, astrophysicists, etc.) to dissect the accuracy portrayed on screen 👈🏼 I’d love for StarTalk to just make this into a permanent segment in regards to science (or even other fields like Wired does it and bring experts). Because I always walk away with questions, and I want to learn what’s accurate.

Or would they just explode as the sheer force dark energy would overcome infinite density? Thank you

      Your question is imaginary because you said space. Science rebukes imagination. Read more nonfiction. For example, time equals energy and energy equals mass times the speed of light squared, no space. Space is science-fiction based on human imagination. Neil deGrasse Tyson is a pseudo scientist. The most perfect example of how time works is the sun. we are our star. For example, the sun is day. How old are you?

    Regarding the Matrix, the whole "humans = batteries" plot could have been made so much better if humans were used as the computational aspect of the matrix, at least in part. It would mean Neo is able to change "reality" by altering the computation in real time...because he's hooked up to the matrix and it's using his brain (among everyone else's) to run the simulation. It gives an actual functional reason as to why he's able to do what he does.

      From what I heard, the whole story is that the original script said that the matrix used human brains for their processing power as microchips. But the execs vetoed that saying that the public wouldnt understant it... It made no sense physically so the W tried their best by adding that line.
      Worst : it didn't make ANY sense storywise. The whole point of the Matrix is to be a product of the human mind with its imagination, dreams and delusions...

    I had an astronomy book as a child in the late 80's early 90's, and I remember with a fair amount of clarity the presentation of both an ever expanding universe and what they called the Big Bang and Big Crunch cycle.

    If space really is a fabric, wouldn't there be ripples that hit us first if the rip occurred on the other side of the universe?

      The idea of the rip is everything becomes so small it co-resides within the next iteration of expansion meaning what we’re detecting as dark matter is the remnant of the previous universal expansion implying if it has ripped we are accelerating into the places where it needs to be filled causing the cycle of entropic annihilation

    Is it possible that Dark Matter is gravity being bled over from other universes in a multiverse? That would explain why there is so much of it, why it doesn't interact other than through gravity (as gravity can bled through higher dimensions) and why it doesn't interact with other bits of Dark Matter.

    • @tyroneallen7857
      @tyroneallen7857 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dark matter is time. The theory of everything is time. Time is everything and everything is time. For example, time equals energy and energy equals mass times the speed of light squared, no space. Space is human imagination. Science fiction. Read more non-fiction. For example, we are our star. The sun is day. How old are you?

    • @tyroneallen7857
      @tyroneallen7857 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The multi-verse is not a hypothesis. The multi-verse is human imagination. Multi-verse is an oxymoron. The universe is one. Time is the fabric of the universe. Time is one. Read more non-fiction. For example, we are our star.

    The mysterious 95 percent of the universe, comprising dark matter and dark energy, continues to be one of the most intriguing and perplexing areas of modern cosmology. While visible matter constitutes only about 5 percent of the universe, dark matter and dark energy are thought to influence the universe's structure and expansion in profound ways. Despite their elusive nature, scientists are making significant strides in detecting and understanding these components, using advanced observational tools and theoretical models. Unraveling the secrets of dark matter and dark energy could not only enhance our grasp of cosmic evolution but also reshape our fundamental understanding of the universe itself.

    Cosmic Queries... favorite type of episode. Nothing is better in science than posing fascinating question after question about things we don't yet understand. It stimulates the imagination. Gets you thinking about what's possible. My favorite question to ponder now is the question of whether our universe is a simulation. I find that question to be perhaps the most important question of all, and also perhaps the hardest question to answer. All we see and feel... it could all be a fabrication. There is no proof that anything is "real." I hope we think of how to test this.

      What does the word "real" mean really ? Everyone has their own meaning. Usually personal.
