I believe one of the reasons she didn't receive an even longer sentence is that she never SOLD any of the shares of her company and therefore make actual profit from their inflated value. You clearly have never been incarcerated. I spent four months in a “nicer” jail. It’s still a horrible nightmare where every aspect of your life is controlled from when and what you eat, what you can buy, when you sleep, wake up, see the nurse, can call home, every communication overheard and recorded, and every letter read. It’s a tiny world where the woman divide into cliques and gossip about each other mercilessly because there is nothing else to talk about. You even have to ask for toilet paper … or wait on toilet paper line once a week and turn in the middles of your toilet paper in exchange for new rolls. And things you took for granted can get you punched in the face… I saw grown women fistfight over a cleaning rag. Trust me when I tell you …. Being locked up is awful. Just cause she isn’t in rikers or pelican bay doesn’t mean she’s living well. And someone like her … she’s never cleaned a thing in her life. Had servants and cooks and whatnot. She will be mopping floors, cleaning the well used bathrooms, and watching what other people want to watch during the short tv time allowed at night. If she’s lucky … and it’s a big if … they might be allowed to order very overpriced pizza once per month and it will be cold by the time she gets it. So rest easy … her life is going to suck for what I would guess will turn into 8 years in prison with the credit time she’ll earn.

The food companies they contract, etc. Top to bottom its a softer more sanitized environment with far more conveniences and liberties. In a federal prison it is quite common to have a private cell with a TV, cable access of some kind, and even gaming systems.

Not to long ago I met a lady and we had the most incredible romantic time. I thought we were going to be together forever. Then about a week later right out of the blue, she leaves me a John deer letter. So I called her up and she gave me a bunch of crap about me not listening to her enough or something, I mean I don't know I really wasn't paying attention. But the thing that hurt the most is I think she was seeing another guy.....I never did find out who.

Not to long ago I met a lady and we had the most incredible romantic time. I thought we were going to be together forever. It's only defrauding investors that put her in prison. Not the potential harms caused to patients with inaccurate testing results. And the investors didn't want too much public attention for being complete idiots. It's a rather lengthy sentence for white collar crime. And she'll never be allowed to run a publicly traded company or sit on the board of directors. She'll have to be like Jim Bakker and run another scam later.
